Javier was a friendly and informative host. It added a real local flavour thst he is from Cadiz and lives and breathes its history snd is passionate about its amazing and remarkable history, which is literally built into the walls, and also it’s eclectic modern offerings of eateries and experiences. A brilliant tour and incredible value for money
Excellent tour with Joaquin, a local guide with a real love for his city. He was very knowledgeable, gave us a real insight into the history of Cádiz through pictures and storytelling and spoke excellent English.
Joaquinn our guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable - no gimmic microphones for large groups just kept it small so we had time to listen and enjoy the political history and social history of Cadiz -
We had a fantastic city tour of Cadiz. Joaquin our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city. His use of old pictures and drawings helped explain some of the information he was sharing. As the best guides do he pointed out things you wouldn't have seen or noticed without his help. He was really helpful to us in explaining with diagrams and notes how to get to the meeting point from our hotel which was a little further away from the town centre. Excellent value for money and highly recommend.
Joaquin was really good, he is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his city. He had great visuals, pictures of how it used to look. I really enjoyed this tour.

I really enjoyed this walking tour. Joaquin was wonderful, he is very knowledgeable and his stories and pictures made it even more enjoyable. I was the only one who signed up for the time slot I needed and I was grateful he didn’t cancel on me. I had been wandering the streets on my own and he showed me so many things I had walk by and didn’t notice. There is so much history here. Thank you Joaquin, you did a fantastic job!
Our guide Joaquin was superb. He was full of knowledge and great enthusiasm for the city that he obviously loves. It was fun, informative and luckily for us, only 3 tourists, so very personal. I would highly recommend and please give him a nice tip as it is great value. Paul & Sara x
Fabulous tour! Javier was so knowledgeable and brought the history of the city to life with stories and pictures that were entertaining and informative. The tour showed parts of the city that we now want to explore further… and it ended in the superb food market where we then tried the local beer and food.
Javier was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and spoke excellent English. He carried with him pictures of various sites from past eras which really helped see how the city had changed and also in some cases, stayed the same. I can’t recommend this tour enough. A fantastic way to see Cadiz
