The journey was dreadful because the air conditioning on the boat wasn’t working and we had to travel in unbearable heat. Because there wasn’t enough space elsewhere on the boat.

I strongly do not recommend Semaya One. This was the worst boat experience of our trip in Bali. When we bought the tickets, the agent assured us that this was a fast boat and that the trip to the Gili Islands would take around 1.5 hours. I will also attach a photo of the agent who sold us the tickets. In reality, it was completely different. The boat departed about 1.5 hours late, and instead of the promised 1.5-hour journey, it took around 3 hours just to reach Gili Trawangan. And the trip did not end there. At Gili Trawangan, everyone continuing to Gili Air was told to get off and transfer to another boat. This transfer and the additional journey took about 40 more minutes. The second boat was small, very old, rusty and visibly in poor condition. There were not enough seats for all passengers, and there was barely enough space for the luggage. Some passengers could not sit properly at all. This was nothing like the “fast boat” experience we were promised when buying the tickets. Nobody clearly informed us in advance that we would have to change boats at Gili Trawangan, that the journey would take significantly longer, or what kind of second boat would be used. In the end: departure was delayed by around 1.5 hours; the promised 1.5-hour trip became around 3 hours to Gili Trawangan; then there was an unexpected boat transfer; followed by another 40 minutes on an overcrowded, old boat; as a result, we lost almost an entire day. The biggest problem for me is not even the delay itself, but the fact that the information given at the time of sale was completely different from what actually happened. If you are buying tickets from Semaya One agents, I strongly recommend asking for the real travel time, all stops and transfers in writing before paying.

The boat was 1 hour late. It was supposed to be direct to Sengigi and no stops but we made stops at Gili Tragawan and Gili Air. We were obliged to change boat at Gili. What was supposed to be a 1h30 journey, took 5 hours in reality. I don’t recommend it to anyone. I should have trust the reviews.

Pleasant trip inside the boat but disorganized planning beforehand. We received an email to come earlier in the morning after all, we had to rush because we weren't very close... we arrived on time only for the boat to leave almost at the time originally announced!! With a wait of over 1 hour and 30 minutes in a hall more like a parking garage than a waiting room... with overwhelmed and uninformed staff...

The worst boat experience! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. No help coming on and off the boat or with handling luggage like other operators. Boat was 2.5hour late without advising us!!!

Our trip from Nusa Penida to Gili Trawangan was an absolute disaster! The boat was delayed by 2 hours, and we received absolutely no information or updates from the operator about the delay. The boat itself was very old, and the legroom was a complete joke — it might be suitable for small children, but certainly not for adults. The journey was extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, in Nusa Penida you have to carry your own luggage all the way to the pontoon next to the boat. It doesn’t matter whether you are a child, a woman, or an elderly person — there is no proper assistance with the luggage. Overall, the entire experience was a catastrophe from beginning to end: terrible organization, no communication, an old and uncomfortable boat, and very poor service. I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Pathetic arrival, we booked online, arrived at the port, they couldn't find our reservation, there were several of us in the same situation.

Totally NOT recommended. Don’t use Semaya One! Very disappointing experience traveling from Gili to Bali. First of all, the boat was almost 3 hours late, which completely messed up our plans for the day. On top of that, the trip was supposed to take around 2.5 hours, but we actually spent about 4 hours on the boat. Inside the boat it was extremely cold because of the air conditioning. People were literally sitting in jackets and trying to keep warm during the whole trip. It was very uncomfortable. The whole experience was poorly organized, with very little communication about the delay. When you book a speedboat, you expect at least a reasonable schedule, correct information about the travel time, and basic comfort. Unfortunately, Semaya One provided none of these. There are plenty of other speedboat companies operating between Gili and Bali — use another company. I definitely do not recommend Semaya One and would never use them again.

The waiting area and toiled in the harbour were crowded, dirty, and disorganised. The ferry trip was ok, but there was no food/snacks available for purchase - only beers. They also kept playing a record of the ferry instructions in repeat for over 15min while people were boarding the vessel which was so irritating!

Great easy trip to lombok. Very quick and without any issues
