Awesome experience! The length (4 hrs) was perfect and the guide took us to a bunch of different locations specific to what we were interested in. We learned a lot from this experience and would definitely recommend it to those who want to explore Tokyo on a private, personalized tour.
We had a really fun morning and early afternoon with Sakura and Tiga! They were so fun and informative…we felt like we were hanging with friends :) They shared a lot of good insights and fun facts about the places we visited and just Tokyo in general. Highly recommend !

I can’t say enough good things about Tomoki and especially my Guide for the day Subaru I had a really great full day Tour with Subaru, we went to tons of places that were perfect for me avoiding a lot of crowds and other things that I was not interested in he took me places of great interests and beauty. One reason was the custom designed itinerary that Tomoki created for me based on our conversations, which ended up making it a great day.. the greatest praise has to be left for Subaru however who was a wonderful Guide a great person and really fun to talk and interact with literally my wish was his command on the tour and it was great. In addition to all this later late at night I had difficulties with my transportation from my hotel to the airport and Subaru’s help navigating the Tokyo Transportation system to make sure I got there on time was incredible. It was way over and above the call of duty. He spent over two hours late in the evening helping me find Transportation to the airport in the incredibly complex Tokyo public transportation system. I cannot thank Subaru enough for that. My highest recommendation for Tomoki Michitabi‘s service and guides is warranted. If you book a tour with them you will not be disappointed.

We stumbled upon Tokyo Private Custom Tour completely by chance while exploring the Senso-ji area, and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous decisions of our trip. The guides welcomed us warmly and we ended up joining them for a tour of the neighbourhood that far exceeded our expectations. They walked us through the iconic Senso-ji temple with detailed and engaging explanations that gave us a real appreciation for its history and significance — far more than we would have gotten exploring on our own. We also discovered the lively shopping streets nearby, which were great fun to wander through. The real highlight was a hidden gem the guides led us to: a tucked-away street that used to be an underground train station from the post-war era. A fascinating piece of Tokyo’s lesser-known history that we would never have found by ourselves. The whole experience felt personal and unhurried. The guides were friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge. If you’re in the Senso-ji area and get the chance to join one of their tours — planned or unplanned — don’t hesitate. Highly recommended!

We were approached by two very nice tourguides in Asakusa, Subaru san and Tomoki san. They showed us around telling stories and shared their local knowledge. When the rain started, they helped us find good umbrellas. They were very helpful and funny. Thank you very much for the tour, we would definetly join them again!
