Catching the sunset boat cruise was 100% worth it! Seeing the temples from the water as the sun was setting was beautiful. Exploring the temples on land earlier in the day was great too we could really take our time at each site, and our guide gave us just the right amount of history. Very smooth, comfortable day overall.
Everything was handled really well from start to finish. We had plenty of time at each temple to wander around, take photos, and ask questions. The boat ride around the historic island was a great way to wind down the day. Comfortable, easy, and very well managed!
Having private transport made traveling between Bangkok and Ayutthaya completely stress-free. The temples were incredible to see in person, and the boat trip around the island gave a nice, relaxing break after walking around. Highly recommend
We’re in the van heading back now and I’m still looking through all the photos from today. Ayutthaya was interesting. The boat ride was my favourite moment because the view from the river was so different from walking around the temples. Would happily recommend this tour
I came mainly for the old temples, but the boat ride ended up being one of my favourite parts too. Wat Mahathat and the Buddha head in the tree were really interesting to see, and The view from the river gave the whole place a different feel. We chose the sunset option and the timing was perfect for photos. I’d definitely recommend this trip.
Ayutthaya is an absolute must-see. Taking a private car out there saved us so much hassle with public transport, and the air-con was a proper blessing. Finishing the trip with a ride on the river gave us a completely different perspective of the area. Really good day out.
We picked the late afternoon option and it was brilliant. Exploring the sites on foot first was great, but watching the sun go down from the boat was definitely the highlight. Everything was smooth, on time, and completely hassle-free.
Really enjoyed this. Travelling with a private guide made such a difference because we could move at our own speed and take breaks whenever we needed to. The temples were amazing to see, and seeing everything from the river on the local boat was a nice touch. Great day out all round.
Ayutthaya was such an interesting place to walk around. I especially liked the Buddha head in the tree roots and all the old ruins, they have so much character. We chose the sunset boat and I’m glad we did, it was a nice way to finish the trip and see the temples from another view. Plenty of good photo spots too. A very enjoyable day and definitely somewhere I’d recommend visiting.
We booked the morning tour and had a really nice time. We visited the old temples, tried on traditional Thai clothes for some photos, and later took a boat ride around Ayutthaya. It was nice seeing the temples and local areas from the river too. A fun morning and definitely worth doing!
