Ibrahim took me to discover Al Balad on a walk as it might have been with an old friend who would have taken a long time to visit him at home. He introduces you to this old neighborhood, the historic heart of Jeddah, through a pleasant conversation, revealing its nooks and the little stories, sometimes personal, that also make up the history of this city. He knew everything about the old city and was generous with his time and even bought me a small souvenir, we had coffee and chatted on two occasions and enjoyed the wonderful Arabic hospitality that Jeddah has to offer. The man demonstrated true Arab hospitality. He paid for my lunch and souvenir. He showed grate patients,for I'm 77 years old I do recommend this man. He deserves a pay raise many times over. I would have given him a big yipnut I was told if an Arab demonstrated hospitality, you don't pay. You simply accept
