We wanted to see something other than sand and concrete, so we booked this trip.. the cave and canyon are beautiful and make such a refreshing change. The tour was cheap, it didnt include entry to the cave or canyon, but that can be paid on the day to the rep. Pay in Lira, its cheaper.. this actually applies to everything too. We we're collected from our hotel on a minibus that looked like something from the temu version of 'pimp my ride' and the rear end was either lowered, or the suspension was gone and the tyres constantly scraped on the wheel arches, which isnt the most reassuring of experiences.. but we made it, even with a couple of missed turns and a fairly hairy 3-point turn on the side of a mountain! Our rep was new and its sorta showed, she didnt know the script yet and kept stopping to read the next part of her phone before delivering it, but it was May, im sure that wont last long. overall, the trip is really cheap, you get to see some really lovely places, you get fed and then you get taken back to your hotel. we had no complaints.
