To herd our group of 9 foodies was a challenge Kevin rose to. We all enjoyed the little quirky places where we encountered no other tourists. The food was tasty and plentiful! Thanks for a great evening.

An excellent evening out.
We have just spent an amazing evening with Kevin who took us to some amazing but unassuming food options: places and foods that we would never have found. He generously shared his love of food and Georgetown and gave us such a great introduction to the city. Recommend to anyone who is interested in getting off the tourist path and getting ridiculously full on wonderful foods.

A great tour with a wide...
A great tour with a wide range of food and a great way to see and experience the historic Penang. Junie was wonderfully knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Penang, and she had genuine relationships with many of the vendors, which only enhanced the experience.

Excellent foodie tour!
Kevin, our guide, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the various foods and cultures of George Town. Come hungry as there is a lot of food to try!

Satisfying experience
This is a really enjoyable, tasty, and interesting food tour to places only locals would know. Kevin, our friendly guide, is knowledgeable and was very pleasant company. Great food, great fun.
Tip: Start with a an appetite.

Highly recommend
We had a great food tour with Junie. She drove us to five different areas to try about 10 different dishes which really gave us a great overview of the many different types of dishes and food available in the area as well as a bit of city tour. She also told us a lot about the town and its different ethnic groups. At the end she even kindly sent us some recommendations for other restaurants to try based on the dishes we liked the most. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it!

Great evening, well organised and lovely food
Jesus (guide) and Baptist (driver) gave us a wonderful personal experience where we visited a mixture of restaurants, stand alone stalls and hawker stall ‘collectives’, sampling at least 12-15 different dishes and a few types of local beverage.
They were both engaging and Jessi spoke very articulately about Penang’s history and its food scene.
We never felt rushed and there was plenty of food (no way we could have finished it all, so it’s worth pacing yourself!).

The best way to try street food in Penang
I heard all about the amazing street food in Penang and this is an excellent tour to sample what Penang has to offer. I am a fussy eater but I found everything to be delicious. My recommendation is to try and avoid lunch as there is alot of food on this tour! I would add this tour as a 'must do' in Penang.

Come hungry! Excellent tour
Kevin was such an awesome host. He took us to taste many fantastic dishes and we left extremely full and satisfied. It was great to see my kids trying and liking foods I would have never expected. The food quality and variety were excellent. It was also nice to see the city and learn more about its history. Thank you Kevin for a great morning.

A culinary experience not to be missed
We were guided through the local area expertly by Kevin who explained the ingredients and method of cooking in each dish we tasted. It was a wonderful experience and one we will remember with great memories.
