リヨンの英雄的女性たちへの珍しい訪問

Great tour to see different neighbourhoods and understand history of Lyon and France - beyond normal tourist spots . Guide was really informative, shared extra info about day to day life , artists and food and fun . Highly recommend this tour - it’s for everyone

Our guide was Shirine. She was very nice and told us interesting stories as well as showed us places with lovely views. We learned a great deal from Shirine while having a nice time. I recommend this tour! I think this is a terrific tour for all, but especially young women. Shirine’s stories of courageous women are very inspiring.

The guided tour was really very nice. Shirine, the guide, made the tour very interesting and informative. I learned quite a few things about Lyon and about the various surprising stories of certain women. I recommend this tour without hesitation! It was really great!! Thank you Shirine Ellen

This tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with so much new, very interesting facts. We were so glad that we came on this tour- was so worth it and can highly recommend it. Superb tour guide- thank you.

Our tour was one of the best things we have done on our visit. Shirine, our guide, is among the most lovely people we have met since visiting Lyon. She led our "Heroines of Lyon" tour, and I will very highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lyon. She is knowledgable and so very passionate. She clearly loves the topic, and that has only elevated the tour. We learned a lot about a subject that is too often not talked about. If you prefer smaller groups for tours, this is for you. It does not seem to be the most popular and that is a shame. Our group was only two, but this tour deserves many many more. The walk itself is very nice, pretty sights and entirely downhill. What really made it for us was how personable and accommodating Shirine was. She not only taught us, but also gave us recommendations of other places to visit and local restaurants to try. The value for admission is second to none, I could have paid much more and been happy. There was not a dull moment, and it made a very good lasting impression. I will emphasize this point again: to anyone visiting Lyon, this tour is a must!!!!

A very beautiful new way to rediscover the slopes of my familiar landscape. The portraits of extraordinary women that line the promenade are revealed through storytelling anecdotes.

My husband and I booked this tour for our first full day in Lyon. We have been to the city several times, nut learned so much on this tour! To begin, I left my phone in the Uber before the tour. Shirine, our lovely guide, was so accommodating. She gave my husband her number and made it very easy for him to meet up with us. She made a stressful situation very easy for us! The tour itself was a perfect mix of history and heroines, but in a fun, entertaining way. As an experienced guide, Shirine knows her information and gave us an overview from ancient Roman gladiator times to present day, making each heroine relevant to Lyon and its importance as a Roman city, the silk trade, the gastronomic capital of France and Lyon's political significance. We had such a lovely time, this is one of my favorite tours ever (as a 20 year history and government teacher who has traveled extensively, this is not a generalized statement). I would do this tour again, just because I loved it so much!

+3

A thousand thanks for introducing us to the city of Lyon through carefully chosen portraits of women who are too often overlooked. Whether from Lyon or not, we learned a lot thanks to Shirine, who knows how to captivate us with engaging and well-structured stories. We can only recommend the experience!

Very interesting visit, a passionate and exciting guide. Pleasant, we didn't see the time pass. But hunger, reminded us to order at the end of the visit.

Great visit! In addition to being an engaged and exciting guide, Shirine is a true ray of sunshine and very attentive. I recommend ++
