Being in Rabat for work, I unfortunately only had the possibility to discover the city from 7 p.m. onwards. I was therefore looking for someone capable of giving me a real local experience in the evening, with real information about the history and culture of Rabat, while having a good time on foot. And I could not have hoped for better. The walk allowed us to discover the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas, the medina, as well as the old Jewish quarter, with explanations, anecdotes, and above all, a lot of context about the city's history at each stop. I particularly appreciated the fact that it was not a "recited" tour: the exchanges with Badia were natural, interesting, and truly pleasant. We also walked through different neighborhoods at nightfall, which gives Rabat a completely different atmosphere. After 4.5 hours of walking, we finished at Dar Naji, an excellent way to end the evening and extend the experience with local gastronomy. What I remember most is having the impression of discovering the real Rabat, beyond the classic tourist spots: its history, its neighborhoods, its inhabitants, and its atmosphere. An authentic, enriching, and truly friendly experience. I recommend this walk without hesitation to anyone who wishes to discover Rabat differently, with someone who truly loves sharing their city. This is already the third time Badia has accompanied my group as a guide, and each time I am sincerely very satisfied. Badia is competent, educated and able to share her knowledge in a clear, lively and interesting way. We feel that she loves her country deeply and speaks about it with passion, respect and authenticity. It's a private tour on foot, which I didn't quite realize at first. Imane is a very nice and professional guide. If you are seriously interested in the culture, history and politics of Morocco, you should book this tour with it. The King's palace is only to be photographed from the outside, but access to the area without a guide is not permitted. The historical and political information on the royal family and Morocco was only comprehensible to us in the context of this visit. Likewise, the Hasan Tower and the Mausoleum Mohammed the V were unique and memorable only with the visit on site. Since we had already seen the Kasbah the day before, our last site was the Chellar. This historic square with garden was and is a special place for us. Imane gave us all the information we needed. We did the sightseeing alone, including a stop at the stork cafe with a magnificent view.

This is a great intimate way of exploring the historical aspects of Rabat. It is a walking tour so this should be stipulated from the advert. Our experience was not ideal because it was raining and cold. The guide was quite pleasant knowledgeable.
