La Bufadora is a fun outing in Ensenada, especially if you are looking for something to do while in port during a cruise. The market on the road leading down to the blowhole is very crowded but fun for souvenir shopping. Our guide was very friendly and accommodating. The description said the vehicle would come stocked with drinks but it did not so be ready to purchase your own. Also, bring cash for restrooms and other purchases.

Excellent time with Alex! Provided lots of local information on the area. Stopped for a delicious meal for authentic tacos. We had a handicapped person with a walker and all went well. Enjoyment for the whole family.

Alex picked us up at the Port as promised and shared not just La Bufadora, but his understanding of and love for the city of Ensenada. His relationship with his city made the experience so much richer. By far, one my best tours because of the stellar tour guide. If I worked for Viator, I'd have tshirts printed that say "Ask for Alex!"

The actual location is at the edge of a small strip of shops that is about a 30 minute drive from the port. People selling a very wide range of souvenirs, snacks, and food of every price range. Our guide was very friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and overall great guy!

We had an amazing experience with our private driver in Ensenada through Viator — Alex Aguilar was incredible. From the moment he picked us up, everything was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. He was professional, kind, and made our whole group feel taken care of. We were celebrating my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday, and Alex truly made it special. He was patient, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable the entire time, which meant so much to us. He also shared great local recommendations and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re booking in Ensenada, definitely ask for Alex Aguilar — highly recommend!

I booked the La Bufadora Blowhole Tour with Transportation and it was one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we were picked up, the service was top-notch! Our guides, Alex and Jose were very knowledgeable and made sure we had a blast. The highlights for me were the beautiful weather, the rainbow after each spout from La Bufadora, and seeing my mom laughing so hard and really enjoying herself. I love to shop and you get to do as much/little shopping as your heart desires. We are still craving those tamales!! My pointers are if you are cruising be prepared for a long walk out of the port and wear comfortable shoes. The vendors/shopping can be a bit overwhelming, but you will find all kinds of goodies and souvenirs, take cash, spend local and enjoy! Alex and Jose are the absolute best!! We felt like we were hanging out with good friends laughing and catching up on old times. I really hope I can get my family together to visit Ensenada and book this tour again. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ensenada! You will not regret it.

I have mixed feelings about this experience. I was hoping for more of a tour where the guide explains the history and points of interest of the area, but it was more of just a nice, comfortable van ride to the Bufadora. The driver was nice but didn't really explain much about the area which is what I prefer a tour to be. Also, I didn't enjoy the overly aggressive vendors at the Bufadora marketplace. Some people might like this experience, but I viewed it as more of having to traverse a guantlet to get to the nice viewing area at the end of the road.

The blow hole is worth seeing. No time given for meeting up with the guide and it was difficult to locate the guide. Also our guide did not speak much English. Overall we enjoyed the visit although it could have been better organised.
