We participated in this calligraphy class with a family of friends, and it was an incredibly meaningful experience. Both of their children, aged 12 and 7, enjoyed their very first calligraphy experience from the bottom of their hearts. The instructor, a warm and highly experienced Japanese calligraphy teacher, guided us patiently and joyfully. We were able to choose the kanji characters we wanted to write, and the souvenir paper boards (shikishi) were beautifully prepared. We even got to take home two calligraphy pieces each, which made the experience feel like more than worth the price. The studio atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, perfect for both beginners and families. It wasn't just a lesson—it was a cultural immersion that left us with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation of Japanese tradition. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming cultural activity in Japan!
