We had an excellent experience- learnt so much about village life and structure and really enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the villagers and our guide. The dance group was incredible. We felt we had a private concert! Our pick up and drop off to our air BnB was also excellent- and we were very grateful for guide choosing our lunch spot and assistance with the border crossings! Thoroughly recommend !

We always like to learn about support local communities in a respectful way that does not exploit those who live there. Sitali and our guide Brave introduced us to the Mukuni people. We heard about the marriage between two tribes who settled in to form the village and are still led by descendants from the original Chief and Bedyango (female leader). Local students who were on break shared traditional song and dances. We were there right after harvest so we saw women prepping the peanuts and corn. The market was a bit overwhelming but vendors are friendly and take the time to introduce themselves and ask about your visit. You just wish you could make a purchase from each of the shops. I would recommend this during a trip to Vic Falls.

The tour itself and the tour company (Sitalis Travel) was really good. The owner, who was my driver was super friendly. The tour itself was quick & interesting, It was nice to see how others in the area lived. This would be great to do if you're looking for something to do in the livingstone area for just an hour or two in addition to the falls. The only thing that made me feel bad was the pressure to buy something at the end. I travel full time and never buy souvenirs and I felt terrible for not.

Great trip, actually the owner of the company took me himself on the tour, he was very passionate about what he does and tourism in Zambia. Mukuni Village itself was very interesting to see how the different families live in the village and their roles within the village. Highly recommended and is the best value in town for this tour

Felistus was a great guide and is very knowledgeable! We were escorted by the owner Sitali who was an amazing and exceptionally friendly guide himself who grew up in the area was readily answering all our questions with the depth of knowledge only available from someone with first hand experience. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone
