It was a great tour with interesting and varied spots. Shrines and nature. Shani is a brilliant guide: very accommodating. Accompanied us where it was necessary (e.g., when getting tickets) but then let us explore the spots in peace. Shani was always concerned that we were doing well. Thank you very much!

Hashmi was an excellent tour guide, the weather was not cooperating but he made it a great day anyway. Touring the temples was so beautiful. We then went to a lake and got to see some snow monkeys on the way! Overall a great day with a great tour guide.
Hashmi was our tour guide to Nikko. We had a awesome time he was very informative and let us take our time to explore. Would recommend if you’re planning a trip to Japan.
We were picked up promptly from our hotel at 6 am by our driver Javed. He has excellent communication skills, was a skilled driver, and his car was very comfortable. Javed and I discussed our wish list for Nikko sightseeing and he recommended a route which I think worked out very well and avoided the worst crowds. Javed is very kind and never rushed us. Although he is technically a driver and not a guide, he was able to give us some information. He also recommended an Udon restaurant for lunch in Nikko which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for the awesome day! :))
Our driver Javed showed up on time in an immaculate 7 seater vehicle with car seats already fitted for our little ones. (Requested in advance) we loved that a private tour allowed us to travel at a pace suitable for our little family and accommodate the needs of the children. The Nikko trip was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful waterfalls and shrines. Our driver directed us to a fabulous lunch.
Personal pick up at our hotel was definitely a bonus for us. Of particular interest for us was Tosho-gu & Kanmangafuchi Abyss with the Jizo statues. If you like to wander & spend a long time at each stop this is not the trip for you as there is too much to see. Our driver was quiet though competent and we appeciated his assistance in making sure any ticketing issues were sorted.

We did have a great day but soon realised that our “guide” was more of a driver than a guide. I was a bit confused when he asked what we wanted to do as I thought what I boooked was a fixed itinerary. There is no time to do everything but I said I wanted to do the main things like the shrine, Kegon Falls, the bridge. Our driver Javed was quiet but lovely and on a very rainy day provided some umbrellas for those without. He had knowledge of the religions but didn’t accompany us in the shrine but did help us buy tickets. We couldn’t see the lake very well because of the mist but he did find a place to stop which gave us some view and he took us to a waterfall not on the list in case Kegon Falls was covered in mist. It wasn’t so that was a bonus and we appreciated the care he gave. It was a great day out - just needs to be made clearer that this is a driver and you choose the key places and that you won’t have time to fit it all in.

It was a nice tour to amazing places in Nikko. It felt a little rushed though but in general, good. I would recommend it.
