This was such an incredible experience! Both the host and the restaurant owner were warm and welcoming, offering me a haori to wear during the evening. Although I speak relatively good Japanese, everyone spoke English, so conversation flowed very easily all evening. I was able to ask the host questions about her experiences as a geisha, whilst tucking into incredible food. Each course of the meal was cooked to perfection - including the biggest Wagyu steak I’ve honestly ever seen - and I also got to try some of the restaurant owner’s vintage wine collection, which was a real treat. As a picky fish eater, the chef was able to accommodate my tastes, which I was super grateful for too. After dinner, I was treated to an intimate musical performance by the host, followed by geisha games and dessert, which I ended up having to take home with me because I was so full after so many delicious courses! It truly was a core memory experience and I have already recommended it to several friends planning a trip to Tokyo

Different Spaces and Nostalgia
I was able to experience things that I can't usually do a little easier.
I found it when I was looking at Instagram.
I also liked the nostalgia of the old house!
The atmosphere is in a stylish old private house in a different space,
They also wore kimonos gently and carefully.
Delicious meals and a wide variety of wines, even fun tatami room play!
It was such a wonderful experience!
I went with a friend because I wanted to experience Japanese culture in a way that I couldn't usually. I wanted to do more than the usual sightseeing in Asakusa, like wearing a kimono or riding a rickshaw, so I was looking for one and found this one.
I'm Japanese, but it reminded me of the old-fashioned taste of my mom's. I was thrilled to experience playing ozashiki, which is not normally a thing to do. I also missed the sweets I got from them.
