Bring a raincoat and good walking shoes. Be prepared for slow border crossing into Zambia. Our guide Isaac was great and very knowledgeable about the falls, flora and fauna!

We used Viator for 6 different events in 3 weeks. This one was a disaster. Transportation was late. Were we not i formed about needing our passports or needing a visa. We had to run back and get our passports. One person pick us up who took us to another person, who handed us off to another person. Due to the additional cost we only completed the tour on the Vic falls side and not the Zambian side since we already had to pay an additional $58 per person for the park fees. This was at the end of our vacation and just put a damper on it. Our tour guide provided knowledge but was not i reactive other than offering to take a photo. We paid for the full experience of a 5 out tour and only completed 2 hours.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify several points so that the circumstances are accurately represented. Regarding transportation and timing, the pickup arrangements were communicated with the guests. Due to a delay in their travel itinerary from Botswana, an adjusted pickup arrangement was discussed, and the guests were given the option regarding their pickup time. The transfer arrangements involved different drivers and vehicles as part of coordinating transportation across the border, with the intention of ensuring that the guests could still proceed with their Victoria Falls experience. We would particularly like to clarify the circumstances concerning the guests’ visa requirements, as this was a significant factor in their decision to complete only one side of Victoria Falls. The guests were travelling from Botswana and had obtained a single-entry Zimbabwean visa for their initial entry into Zimbabwe. Once they entered Zimbabwe, that single-entry visa was used and could not be used again for a subsequent re-entry into Zimbabwe. For the originally booked experience, which covered both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides of Victoria Falls, the guests would cross from Zimbabwe into Zambia. Entry into Zambia did not require them to obtain another Zimbabwean visa. However, after completing the Zambian side, they would need to re-enter Zimbabwe, and because their original Zimbabwean visa was a single-entry visa that had already been used, they would have been required to obtain and pay for the appropriate visa or entry permission for re-entry into Zimbabwe. The guests were informed of this requirement. However, they were not willing to pay the additional visa cost required for re-entry into Zimbabwe. As a result, they made the decision to complete only the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls rather than continue with the full Zimbabwe–Zambia experience that had originally been booked. It is therefore important to clarify that Mannex Travel and Tours did not cancel, shorten, or refuse to provide the Zambian portion of the tour. We remained prepared to provide the full itinerary that had been booked. The guests themselves decided not to proceed with the Zambian side after considering the additional visa requirement and associated cost. We would also like to clarify the US$58 mentioned in the review. This was not an additional charge imposed by Mannex Travel and Tours. It was the applicable Zimbabwean Victoria Falls National Park entrance fee, payable separately from the tour price. Government immigration charges, visa fees, and national park entrance fees are separate from the operator's service charges. The booking information clearly explains the services included in the tour as well as the fees and expenses that are not included and must be paid separately by guests. These details are provided so that travelers can understand the total costs associated with their itinerary before undertaking the tour. International travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have the correct passport, visa, and travel documentation required for their nationality and planned itinerary. While we assist our guests with information and guidance regarding border procedures, visa decisions and government immigration fees remain the responsibility of the traveler and are determined by the relevant immigration authorities. In this particular case, the guests' decision not to pay for the additional visa required for re-entry into Zimbabwe directly affected their ability and willingness to complete the originally booked cross-border itinerary. We take every guest’s feedback seriously, but we believe it is important that the review also accurately reflects the circumstances that led to the shortened experience. The full service remained available, the inclusions and exclusions were communicated in the booking information, and the decision to complete only one side of Victoria Falls was made by the guests after they chose not to incur the additional visa cost required for their itinerary. Seeing Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides was truly amazing. Our guide, Isaac was knowledgeable and very professional. The only caution that I would give to anyone taking this tour is that it involves a lot of walking, some of it up and down relatively steep hills.

This is an amazing way to see the falls from both sides. Having a guided tour means that you are supported across both borders which speeds up process and guides knowledge gives you so much about the Flaura and fauna as well as history about the land, the people and the falls. Seeing from both sides gives you different perspective. From Zambia you can stand by the Zambezi and see how it flows into the falls and can see it much closer up. The Zimbabwe side is bigger and more spectacular. Be warned though it is expensive on the Zimbabwe side with visa and entry fee to park twice the price of the Zambia side. We loved it and it was a full day event that gave us loads

This was an excellent way to experience the Falls from both sides. The spiel is true - if you book this, your guide is just for your party. There were two of us and Isaac zipped us through border control, explained the history, geology and what’s next for the Falls, and gave fabulous insight into the animals and birds we encountered. I’d recommend bringing/hiring a LONG raincoat if you don’t enjoy a good drenching.

Amazing experience visiting Victoria Falls. 10 minute drive from our hotel to Victoria Falls. We first crossed the Victoria Falls Bridge into the border of Zimbabwe where we received our visa. After entering into Zimbabwe, we were able to view the breathtaking Zimbabwe side of the Victoria Falls. Then I entered the Zambia side which was very exciting as I had crossed the Knife Edge Bridge. Our driver and tour guide were amazing and very helpful and assisted us through the falls safely.
