We had an incredible experience on our Louvre tour with Matteo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. The tour was around two hours long, and we were able to stay afterwards and continue exploring the museum at our own pace. Matteo was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Matteo asked if there was anything specific we wanted to see and tailored the tour accordingly. Rather than focusing only on the most famous pieces, he introduced us to many other fascinating works throughout the museum, which gave us a deeper appreciation of the Louvre. We were also incredibly lucky that no one else had booked our time slot, so the tour ended up being private. This meant we could take our time, ask as many questions as we liked, and move at a pace that suited us. We booked only the day before and were happy to find a 6pm tour available. The later time meant the Louvre was slightly less crowded, making the experience even more enjoyable. Matteo also took us to an alternative entrance, allowing us to avoid the queues completely and get straight inside. Choosing a small-group tour was definitely the right decision. The Louvre is enormous, and having an expert guide made it much easier to navigate. We could hear Matteo clearly, ask questions freely, and spend more time seeing the things that interested us, rather than struggling to keep up with a large group. This tour exceeded our expectations and was far better than any large-group museum tour we've experienced. If you're considering a visit to the Louvre, do yourself a favour and book with Matteo. You won't regret it!

Our tour guide Matteo was so enthusiastic, was very happy to answer all our questions and gave some great suggestions on other pieces to view once the tour ended. It was the right length with the right level of detail. Could not fault it. Matteo, you were amazing and made the trip!!

This was by far the best experience! From receiving priority entrance (no lines) to our guides (Mateo) knowledge and insight, we could not have imagined a better experience! I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone and wouldn’t consider not doing it if it’s your first time!

Matt was an excellent guide. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and full of cool insights that made the experience memorable. The tour was incredibly informative, and we were able to enter the Louvre quickly, essentially skipping the long lines. We’d absolutely rate this experience a 10/10 and highly recommend it. We only had 3 days in Paris and were trying to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time, so this tour ended up being perfect for us. It showed us all of the major highlights while also giving us a lot of information and context that we definitely wouldn’t have gotten on our own. Without this tour, we would’ve wasted time trying to figure out where to go and probably would’ve gotten lost. The group size was also perfect and a major reason we chose this specific tour. The small group size made it feel really personal and allowed us to actually hear everything and ask questions along the way. We especially appreciated the thoughtful details, like providing a locker for our belongings and headsets so we could hear clearly throughout the museum. Matt even shared great restaurant recommendations for after the tour. The only thing we wish we had done differently was wander around the Louvre a little more on our own after the tour ended, and we highly recommend doing that if it fits into your schedule! We will definitely rebook when we’re in Paris again!

Had an amazing small group tour at the Louvre! Our guide was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting around 6 PM when the crowds are lighter—it made a huge difference and allowed us to truly appreciate the art without the usual rush.
