My girlfriend and I did the Same Day Exclusive Kayak Rental on Lake Powell and absolutely loved the experience. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Communication with the team was excellent throughout. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had all the important information beforehand. When we arrived, they clearly explained everything we needed to know, including the best spots to visit and practical tips for the day. The whole experience was smooth, easy, and extremely enjoyable, and Lake Powell itself was incredible to explore by kayak. We would definitely do it again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to experience Lake Powell

Very poorly managed. No greeting from excursion crew. Crew sat in a trailer waiting for us to find them. No assistance provided with kayaks. Expected guests to haul kayaks up a steep rocky incline upon end of excursion. Other groups were not being treated this way.

Self guided kayak excursion across Lake Powell and up through water antelope canyon. Experts told us the route typically takes 90mins each way, but as we were a bit quicker we had time to explore the rest of the canyon on foot. Surroundings are stunning and felt like a one of a kind way of experiencing the environment! Only warning is you will need to carry the kayak up and down a steep hill to and from the water, though they will help if you are struggling! Well worth the effort though!

We found the meeting place easily. You need to wear good shoes because you have to carry the kayak down to the water's edge via an unpaved path and then carry it back up - the kayak is heavy and it is difficult. The scenery is great and the kayak is very well maintained - Be careful, you need your park pass to access it, otherwise there is an extra charge.

Everything was perfect, from the logistics to the kindness of the activity leaders! We could not afford the grand tour of Antelope Canyon (for four people it is very expensive), but renting kayaks for the day is more than worth it, and we had an excellent day; we were able to swim to cool off and park the kayaks on a small beach to go for a short walk!

Overall it was a good experience, just be prepared to have the staff tell you to carry your own heavy kayak down a very steep and sandy road and back up again at the end. We were not prepared for this and only had flip flops so we had a pretty difficult time carrying the kayak.

It is an awesome experience for the price. Fun time kayaking, we were able to rent all day and get to see the super cool antelope canyons as a result. I would recommend having some experience kayaking as the wake can be large traveling through the boating area. My only reservation about the experience was that they had rented majority of the solo kayaks by the time we arrived, although our booking was for solo kayaks. Nevertheless, they pulled some strings to get some for us which we appreciated. Friendly and good teaching staff.

Add to the cost- $30 to get to your launch point. There are about 7 different rental companies at the same place. Slightly unorganized. Incredibly steep walk to the water & back up. I would not call the kayaks “performance”. This was a rental only, no guide- we were given few instructions and sent on our way. The water itself was extremely choppy and the river/lake was very busy with boaters. We never made it to the canyon- got tired of fighting the kayak and waves from all the boats, turned around and came back! Not an enjoyable time at all! For the money, What does it include? - a well used life jacket, a paddle and a well used kayak! Good luck!

This was really easy to find. It was easy to contact the rental company and they were extremely helpful. The kayak trip was allegedly 2.5 miles from point A to point B, but my app I recorded showed around 3 and a half miles. It could have just been the way we paddled though. Regardless, this hike to the canyon was gorgeous and totally worth it. It wasn't too busy in the morning time and there were plenty of areas along the river to park the kayak and go for a quick swim. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity in AZ. Also, I would say this is suitable for any level of fitness as the rental company allowed rental from 8am to 5pm. Plenty of time to paddle and explore the canyon and be back in time.
