It was a good bonding for family. The food was good (esp the chicken rice, wow!!) and the walk was pleasant. The guide was knowledgeable and introduce many different interesting aspects of the places we visited, the food we ate etc. They were able to engage us, making sure that we crossed the roads safely, and well taken care of during the tour.

I love how well paced the food tour is within its time frame, and I like how knowledgeable the guide Ling is when we talked about history and heritage in Singapore besides the food culture which she is very clear about. She also makes the whole tour enjoyable despite the hot weather and she really takes a lot of consideration to make sure I am comfortable during the walk.

Wonderful, small group (it was just our family) food tour. Ronald kept us entertained as he showed us notable and delicious food stalls and restaurants. We ate a wide variety of delicious food and Ronald made sure to point out places we may like to visit on our own later.

Great experience walking around Chinatown, get to learn more about the hawker culture, gets to taste delicious local Hawker food in the local environment.. Guide is very knowledgeable and explained clearly and in an easy to understand manner.. Keep up the great work!! Duration is just nice for us..

Laksa from Hong Lim w a Michelin grade , then yummy curry puff.. after goes to the yummy 88 roast pork n char siew.. lots more .. w Nanyang coffee n toast n yummy chicken noodle too. Nice trip to book for families n friends too.

I joined Raymond from Istoria's Chinatown tour and absolutely loved it. It didn't feel like a typical tour where someone just throws dates and facts at you. Raymond tells stories and takes you on a journey, helping you understand how Chinatown became what it is today. Being a local, he knows all the hidden corners, local spots and food..... that you would never notice walking around on your own. I really enjoyed hearing the stories behind the places and experiencing Chinatown through a local's eyes. Raymond is friendly, reliable and genuinely passionate about sharing Singapore's history and culture. The whole experience felt very personal and authentic. Highly recommend if you want to go beyond the usual tourist experience and truly connect.

As a Singaporean, I didn't expect to learn so much from this food tour. It gave me a deeper appreciation of the stories and culture behind our local dishes. A fun and eye-opening experience that I'd highly recommend to both locals and tourists.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience exploring and understanding Singapore with Ling (Serene). Her knowledge of the place is impeccable, and she brings many delightful tidbits that are behind-the-scenes and historically significant. The tour is focused not only on food but also heritage, culture and history. Singapore is known for its great food, but not many would be aware of the foods' origins and beginnings. The stories make the experience of eating local food more meaningful and special. I especially liked the breadth of narratives - this includes multiethnic and religious elements, mythology, history, and a dash of sociology. There were many interesting sights and landmarks along the way that adds to the experience. I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into curating the best of Singapore into a 3hour+ tour, and the places that we were brought to have very rich and interesting, sometimes even surprising stories behind them. Walking around culturally significant landmarks with these stories makes everything come alive! The guide is very attentive and affable, and communicates in a very engaging manner, making us feel included and welcomed. The sincerity in showcasing Singapore's unique culture is strongly felt. If you're someone who's looking for great flavours and textures (gastronomical experience) AND human stories and history (cultural experience), this is tour will be up your alley!
