Excellent tour! Fun to cook & eat. They were so hospitable and very genuine. The drink that’s included is amazing (you get to choose) and it’s like almost 30 oz and 3+ oz of alcohol! Get ready to relax at the beach with a massage after! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent shore excursion while porting in Costa Maya. Great interaction with the proprietor. As described in the listing, right on the beach, five minute taxi ride. Easy to get there and back during a short port day. Highly recommended.

If you don't go to Cafe Jaguar for this cooking excursion, you are absolutely missing out on the best part of this port stop. Omg, chicken kabobs, freshly made Pico, guacamole and blue tortilla made with my own hands!!!! The ladies here are super nice, speak very good English and make a man mango daiquiri with Kraken spiced rum. I highly highly recommend this class. You eat everything you make and you make everything you eat!!! Fantastic.

Carlos did such an awesome job with the class. This was my husband and I first time doing the class and it was well worth it. Bartender was great as well. Definitely recommend this is experience to anyone. The pork tacos were delicious including everything being homemade.

Cafe Jaguar is nestled along a line of shops with quick access to the water. The class was informative and the staff was friendly. The pico de gallo, guacamole, and al pastor tacos were flavorful. It’s a hands on experience, right down to cooking your own tortillas on the comal. If you’re looking for a unique experience to do in Costa Maya, this is it.

What a pleasant surprise this cooking class was for us! The ‘strip’ here in Mahahual can become quite busy and loud, but this little Jaguar Bar was the perfect setting for the two of us -and two other couples who signed up from different ships. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and got us all fun drink drinks or beers before we started. The hands-on teaching was excellent, informative and fun! The quality of the food that we used to make our lunch was top-notch - and it was my first time making tortillas!! It was the perfect way to spend the afternoon before heading back to the port - it was our favorite part of the day!

An amazing experience Mrs Pearl was a great teacher loves her culture and tells you all about . Learned some new techniques and tricks about homemade tortillas and the food was amazing if your looking for something to do and you live being i. The kitchen and love food you should go !

What a fun experience. We are seasoned cruisers and wanted to do something different and found this. The moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner Colleen. She was friendly and very informative. Lissett was tending bar and was constantly making sure we had everything we needed. The class was led by Pearla, with Ixchel who assisted. Both were great. Pearla was fantastic in how she taught the class and explained each process. You can tell she has a passion for her culture, what she does and where she lives. The food was great and plenty of it. Highly recommend this tour. After we got a massage on the beach which was across the street. Also a must.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an amazing experience! The pastor pork tacos, handmade tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh salsas were absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the instruction was clear, fun, and easy to follow. Everyone made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I enjoyed every minute of the class and would absolutely love to do it again. Highly recommended!

This was such a wonderful excursion from the cruise ship and one of my fondest memories of the entire trip! The staff was just amazing! The food was excellent, and we learned how to prepare every facet of the meal. Would definitely go again and I made sure to tell all my friends to visit if they get the chance.
