Wonderful magic guide
Amar is a wonderful person and a great professional. The tour with him was magic, full of history, fascinating, and mystical tales. He took us to a unique place in the world, full of spirituality, and I still remember with emotion how I felt there. I am grateful to Amar for giving me so many emotions and a beautiful tour that is even more special through his photographer's eyes. A highly recommended guide. So so grateful!!!

Brilliant experience with Amar
I contacted Amar after a bit of Googling and using Trip Advisor. He replied to all my emails promptly and although he always seemed very busy with clients, we managed to arrange a photography tour – and I'm so glad I did. On the day, we met early and talked about some of the things I was interested in. Street photography being the main one but I preferred unstaged stuff which he accommodated. Sadhus were proving difficult to capture at one point so Amar suggested hiring one for ten minutes and making a donation – I was fine with this and I got some great shots. We weaved in and out of the gallis behind the ghats finding lots of things to photograph. Although we were using different cameras, Amar was happy to provide lots of tips and encouragement. It was great being in the company of someone who knew what he was doing. We had a break around around midday, and met up again in the afternoon, walking down towards Ass, stopping at Harishandra ghat and having a chai. Overall, meeting Amar and spending time with him was one of the best choices I have made on my trip to Varanasi, I've been many times before and now I'm looking forward to further photo walks with Amar the next time I return to my favourite city.
