We had a wonderful experience with our sightseeing guide! He was extremely friendly, calm, and patient throughout the entire trip. He showed us every spot without ever making us feel rushed and patiently waited while we explored and clicked pictures. What made the experience even more special was how comfortable and welcoming he was—he even had food with us and made us feel like we were travelling with a friend rather than just a guide. The little treats of banana and coconut water were such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly appreciate his kindness, patience, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly and reliable sightseeing guide!

We spent a great day touring Kandy with Athula by tuk tuk. He was punctual, flexible, informative and covered everything we wanted to see and do. We highly recommend Athula as one of the best guides on Sri Lanka.

We had a really nice city tour at a very reasonable cost! He was referred to us by our homestay owner so we didn't know much about him initially. But turned out, he was a really nice guide with a lot of knowledge. He showed us around and explained lots of things, especially the religious places. I had some time shortage so he planned everything accordingly and dropped me home on time. He also warned us from possible scams near the lake, which was really helpful. Overall, such a wonderful person and guide!

Athula is a very professional and knowledgeable guide. He is also very patient and he takes good picture. I am glad to see the Kandy through a local eye. In addition to Kandy sightseeing, there are two shops visit, one to Ayurvedic shop (herbs garden) where they give complimentary massage, roti and tea. The price of the medicine are on the high side, but they will not force you to buy it. Second to the gems museum, they played a movie and showed around the workshop. They will offer you something but you don't have to buy them.

Athula is extremely professional and knowledgeable. It is amazing to see Kandy from a local perspective. He took really good pictures as well. I would recommend him to everyone!

He didn’t just drive us from one place to another—he came along with us to the different sites, explained what we were seeing, and gave us detailed historical and cultural context about each place. He was happy to answer all of our questions and made the experience feel much more personal than a standard city tour. He was also very thoughtful and accommodating throughout the day, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We learned a lot about Kandy and Sri Lanka from him, and his friendliness made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend booking this trip with Athula. He was an excellent guide and driver and really helped make our day in Kandy memorable.

He himself unfortunately did not have time that day, so he sent a friend. We were guided through Kandy by Wicky. He was an excellent guide. He accommodated all our wishes and was able to tell us a lot about Kandy and its history. It was a super pleasant tour. We can only highly recommend a tour with Wicky. In addition, he made sure that we felt comfortable, e.g., he bought us a melon. The tour itself with Wicky had great value for money. However, one should be aware that some activities that you do during the trip cost extra (tickets...).
