A memorable adventure!
Our group of 7 ranged from 10-50 years old, of varying abilities. Alejandro was a wonderful tour guide. He was funny and informative. He challenged us and helped when help was needed! The hike itself was amazing. It was moderately difficult, with a mix of hiking on land, wading through water, and swimming against the current while pulling yourself with ropes. The water was the perfect temperature, and the waterfall was stunning. A great way to spend a morning in Costa Rica!!

Amazing hike
Awesome experience. Tour guide was knowledgeable, took pictures for us and made the hike memorable and fun. You will need to have some baseline fitness and you’ll have to feel comfortable in the water since you will be going against the current with rope and support but the waterfall and experience is amazing.

Rodrigo was hands down...
Rodrigo was hands down the best guide we had on our whole vacation! It was so much more than a waterfall tour, we learned about plants, insects and birds too! The waterfall was amazing as well!

Great times with Allan pollo loco guide, lots of infos and laughs, made it very adventurous and loved his knowledge and chicken demos ! Pura vida amigo , mucho gracias again!

Beyond a tour – it was a soul-stirring experience! 🌿✨
If you're in Costa Rica, you have to find Jose David at Finca Curubanda. What started as a quick 2 PM stop at Llanos del Cortés turned into an unforgettable 'Avatar' adventure.
From off-roading in a jeep to having our faces painted and exploring hidden caves with waterfalls inside—it was pure magic. It reminded me of the famous caves in Vegas, but with the added beauty of flowing water and lush jungle.
The team is so authentic and kind; they even offered us their own shoes when they saw we weren't prepared! No pressure, just pure 'Pura Vida' vibes. Don’t just look at the waterfalls—experience them with these guys! 🇨🇷💦

Recommended visit! Jefferson was an amazing guide! He guided and helped us through the forest and water, knew and shared a lot about the nature, and was very well-spoken in English!

Amazing tour with Luis!
We signed up for the 7:30 tour to be the first to the waterfall & we had the place all to ourselves! Luis was an amazing guide - we saw an anteater, owls & bats. He also talked about some of the trees & local customs. He was so patient & helpful!
Also - this company offers the earliest tours & is closest to the waterfall. We didn’t think we signed up for a private tour but it was just Luis & the 2 of us. He said they try to do private tours when they can.
This adventure got me a little out of my comfort zone - just the right amount. It was perfect & beautiful!

Amazing Adventure hike
Our group of 8 loved the La Leona waterfall hike. We took the adventure route which required scaling up rock walls with ropes (and our guide for support), cliff jumping, swimming, and more... Luis was a great guide - knowledgeable about the area and very safety conscious. Highly recommend (but not in the rainy season)
