Dear Prasoon, Thank you for sharing your feedback on TripAdvisor. We sincerely apologize for the experience you had with our airport pickup service. After a long international journey, you and your family should have received the smooth, safe, and reliable arrival assistance that was confirmed in advance. We fully understand your frustration, and we deeply regret that this did not happen. This incident occurred during an exceptional internal emergency. Our regular airport operations staff was suddenly hospitalized, and at the same time I, as the owner, was outside Nepal and temporarily unreachable due to network limitations. During this period, a newly assigned staff member was handling the operation, and a serious coordination failure occurred. While this explains the circumstances, it does not excuse the service failure you experienced. We accept full responsibility. Regardless of any internal difficulty, your confirmed airport service should have been properly managed, especially considering that your group included three women and a toddler arriving after an exhausting journey. As already committed, your payment was refunded in full. However, we understand very clearly that a refund alone does not undo the inconvenience, stress, and disappointment caused to you and your family at the airport. Since this incident, we have taken it as a serious operational lesson and have strengthened our procedures. We now maintain better backup staffing, clearer emergency handling systems, and stricter arrival coordination protocols so that confirmed services are not affected even in unexpected situations. Top of the World Adventure operates directly from the airport area and has served many travelers with reliable support over the years. This incident was not representative of the standard we aim to maintain, but it was our responsibility, and we do not take it lightly. As a gesture of goodwill, we would be grateful for the opportunity to assist you better in the future and provide a compensatory service should you visit Nepal again.
