We always do our best to accommodate our guests when weather conditions affect snorkeling. However, especially during the summer season, weather and water conditions can change very quickly, and unfortunately, we often cannot make a final determination about snorkeling conditions until close to the tour time. We understand that this can be frustrating, especially after driving 40 minutes to the meeting point. We also want to clarify that, if you preferred not to kayak, we offered you the option to reschedule your snorkeling tour at no additional cost. We could also have provided a refund if you were not satisfied with the alternative experience. We truly did our best to find a solution for you under the circumstances. We care about every guest’s experience, and we certainly never want anyone to feel that we didn’t make an effort to accommodate them. We understand that the two-star rating was based on your overall experience, but it was understandably difficult for us because we genuinely tried to make the best of a situation that was outside our control. We’re sorry again that the conditions didn’t cooperate that day. We would truly love the opportunity to have you back on your next vacation and give you the experience you originally hoped for. While snorkeling is the main activity, our tour is much more than simply going out on the beach and snorkeling above the water. It includes: - a knowledgeable and attentive guide - safety instructions - a snorkeling lesson for first-time guests - snorkeling equipment that is carefully sanitized individually and by hand - life vests - a dive flag - sunscreen - complimentary GoPro footage - an instant photo at the end of the tour - spring water - premium non-alcoholic drinks - snacks including two fruit options and dark chocolate. We’d also like to clarify that the experience booked was our snorkeling tour. For guests looking for more activities and greater value, we offer a 4-hour combination experience that includes snorkeling as well as kayaking or paddleboarding through the mangroves, with all of the same inclusions. This option allows guests to enjoy both experiences as part of one extended adventure and provides an excellent overall value. We understand that value is subjective and that our experience may not be the right fit for everyone. However, we are committed to providing a high level of preparation, safety, personal attention, quality equipment, and additional amenities throughout each tour. We also intentionally keep our groups small so our guides can give guests more individual attention and assistance throughout the experience. Many of our guests feel that this level of service adds significant value to their experience, and some even choose to leave a tip afterward as a gesture of appreciation.
