An excellent few hours in the company of our host Miguel for whom nothing is too much trouble. This trip was a highlight of our holidays and we cannot recommend it too highly. The food at the restaurant was outstanding (we booked to return later in the week) and then after a short tour of some local places of interest we finished sampling homemade jam and liqueurs at Miguel’s lovely farm. Brilliant afternoon and great value. Thanks Miguel and good luck for the future of your business.

If you want to experience the authentic flavors of the Algarve away from the usual tourist traps, you have to book this tour. ​Miguel was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and passionate about sharing his local culture. The tapas and tastings were absolutely delicious! ​The family farm visit was the cherry on top, it was such a unique experience and it was lovely to enjoy such genuine, local hospitality in a beautiful setting.

What an experience! Miguel not only took us to a fabulous, authentic (seriously) Portuguese tapas restaurant for some amazing food (between me and my wife, we tried 8 different dishes) and we saw the most beautiful view, but that was not the special part. He invited us inside his family farm. You get to see the real Portugal, not what is produced for tourists. All I can say is: Book this trip!!

Yummy Yummy Tours was a great afternoon out (14:30-18:30). We were picked up at our apartments and taken in a jeep to a lovely, beautifully decorated/kool vibes Tapas restaurant. We got to choose 4 dishes each. Then we headed to a beach to take in its picturesque view from the cliff top. We finished our tour at Miguel’s family farm. It was very intimate and educational. We briefly met Miguel’s family, and had the opportunity to taste all the home-made jams his mother makes, sourcing all the fruits directly from the farm. We sampled (sugar cane shot) the liquors that are also made on the farm, as well as two others that are not. We met his cute dogs, and had the opportunity to feed the goats. Overall the experience was excellent. I would recommend everyone who is visiting, to book a tour with ‘Yummy Yummy ‘Tours! We also met two lovely Canadian ladies that were on our tour.

Really recommend this trip,you experience authentic Portugal and the tapas was excellent. The visit to the farm for the jams, liqueurs,and meeting the animals was amazing ,thankyou

Had a fun time doing this trip. Tapas were tasty. Did a bit of touring round to see views and the new town. Went to his family farm and did homemade liquer tasting and jam tasting with cheese and toasts. Met the family farm animals and dogs. All in all a good afternoon.

This experince was i cant explain in words only o my god brillant miguel was brillant we got to meet 3 beautiful dogs one i hope is my friend for life we shared cheese and crackers met the most beautiful lady that makes the jams superb have some to bring.home miguels mother is a beautiful lady and brillant cook met a stunning.ginger cat chickens 2 gorgeous goats the tapas was fab they went out of there way to organise food for a vegetarian we had the most lovely lady serving us too this tour.made my.day please keep doing this tour miguel thank you for.today michelle and tom tipperary ireland

This is such a great tour because of the variety, generous portions, sight seeing and the grand finale of the farm. It was fun to try authentic dishes and even more fun trying the delicious jams at the farm amongst the friendly animals.

This is a really personal experience that we enjoyed very much. Meeting local people on a local farm and then having the best tapas we have tasted. There are some suprises along the way once you’ve had the jam and liqueur tasting sessions. Highly recommend

If you’re looking for an authentic tour of the algarve, look no further! Miguel was so knowledgeable about the area and was a fantastic guide. The stop at his family farm is the highlight of this tour. You get to meet all of his dogs, goats and chickens which was so special! 10/10 recommend booking with yummy yummy tours!
