Karnak Left Us Speechless
Saving Karnak for the afternoon turned out to be a brilliant decision, because the softer light made the columns and obelisks look almost golden. Before that, Samer guided us through the Valley of the Kings, choosing exactly which tombs to visit first and explaining the symbolism behind the paintings in clear, patient English. He handled all the tickets in advance, so no time was wasted in queues, and the air-conditioned car was a welcome refuge between stops. Lunch was included and genuinely tasty. Tombs First, Temples Later
Beginning the day underground in the Valley of the Kings was the perfect way to escape Luxor's heat. The tombs were cool, quiet, and covered in colours that have survived thousands of years, and the guide pointed out details that would have been completely missed alone. After a relaxed lunch, the afternoon shifted to Karnak, where the sheer size of the hypostyle hall is something no photo prepares you for. Walking between the columns while the guide explained centuries of building was genuinely awe-inspiring. Pickup was punctual, water was provided, and nothing ever felt rushed. A well-balanced day covering two unmissable sites.

Last week, I went on a wonderful trip to Luxor. It was a very beautiful and enjoyable experience. We visited many amazing historical places and learned a lot about ancient Egyptian civilization. Our tour guide was very kind, friendly, and helpful. He explained everything clearly and made the trip more interesting. I really enjoyed the beautiful places and had a great time. It was an unforgettable trip, and I hope to visit Luxor again someday.
