Great tour, saw a lot of Tashkent's highlights.

The tour itself was okay! We passed by several main sightseeings, visited some iconic metro stations, bazar, Islamic education centers, etc. Learnt a lot on the history of the country. Having said that, the guide assigned had a strong preference on his region position, made a couple of comments that are quite uncomfortable. I could imagine a female can be totally offended for what he said. Also, he had a strong opinion on some part of history, which I guess it’s his personal POV, but would be nicer if he can be more objective.

Mr G’olib was an excellent guide. He was very informative and helpful. He showed us round some interesting places including the metro stations and also helped us get a good price for a football shirt in the Chorsu market. I don’t think it should be marketed as a walking and food tour when there is no food included in the tour. Just call it a walking tour. We did go for a lovely traditional meal after the walk as Mr G’olib took us there, and it was very reasonable.

Had a wonderful walking tour of Tashkent! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience really enjoyable. A great way to explore the city and learn about its history and culture.

I really enjoyed this walking and food tour in Tashkent. It was around four hours and covered some of the city’s important highlights, including Independence Square, the bazaar, and the Islamic Civilization Center. We also got to try local food and had time to look for souvenirs. The guide was excellent — very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He even helped me arrange a taxi back to my hotel when I got lost and couldn’t communicate because of the language barrier. He also kindly bought us metro tickets and showed us how to use the metro, which was a lovely extra touch. The group was small, around six people, so the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, with time to stop for coffee or take a break. The price was also very reasonable for the experience. Just note that entrance to the Islamic Civilization Center/museum is not included; the tour finishes there and you can decide whether you want to enter. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially for first-time visitors to Tashkent. I’d personally suggest doing it in autumn or winter, as walking under the strong sun can be quite tiring. Overall, a very nice and memorable experience!

This was such a good first day adventure. We saw so much history of Tashkent and Uzbekistan and learned a little about the local culture and customs. The “food tour” addition was after the walking tour, with two stops at local restaurants, making for a good dinner.

My tour guide Iroda was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and made this tour a very memorable one. I highly recommend doing this tour. Looking forward to seeing Uzbekistan again soon.
