On my first day in Japan, the Shibuya tour with Vicky was an excellent introduction to an incredibly vibrant area of Tokyo. It was refreshing to get a locals perspective into Japanese society and cultural norms. It was an exhilarating experience to walk the streets, Vicky explained the historical and cultural relevance of statues, monuments and buildings, and elevated park. We went down off-the-beaten track side streets to view quirky “micro-sized” bars, restaurants, and stores. She took me high above Scramble crossing to get an amazing view of the mass movement of thousands of people. She was knowledgeable. very patient, flexible and accommodating.I learned so much about Japan popular culture during this tour which I highly recommend.

Shibuya Tour
Our guide, Masa was very helpful and friendly. He interacted well with us all and answered any questions we had. Communication before the tour was excellent.

Very different locations visited
Our guide, Sei-Chan, was new to guiding but did an admirable job for a first time. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He answered all our questions. My husband and I were lucky as we were the only 2 participants so we had Sei-chan”s undivided attention. The tour was definitely to out of the way locations that we would not have seen on our own

Not to be missed.
Shibuya crossing and surrounding area is an iconic part of Tokyo, and well worth a visit. Our very personable guide Yumi showed us around, and helped us shop for souvenirs per our request. His English was excellent, so it was fun talking w him. We learned a bit about the various youth culture shopping areas, and saw some interesting back alleys. We had a wonderful time, and strongly recommend this tour, and this guide.

Best walking tour of Shibuya Crossing!
Sally (Saori) was excellent at showing us hidden areas near Shibuya Crossing that we would never have found otherwise! Also Sally’s English was the best - better than all the the other guides we’ve had in all of Japan so far!

Lovely Tour of Shibuya
We had a fun tour in Shibuya with Takumi, who not only showed us the highlights but also included some history of the city. Takumi is very kindhearted, friendly and knowledgeable.
He also helped take many nice pictures for my sister and I. Highly recommend this 2 hrs tour.

Friendly, Fun, Fantastic!
This was a great tour— they even asked about my area of interest and tailored the route to my liking. They offered to take photos of me and made friendly conversation throughout. I will definitely book my next tour with YB next time I am in Japan!

Shibuya Stories Where Tradition Meets Pop Culture
This tour was a perfect mix of Shibuya’s famous landmarks and its hidden gems. From the Hachikō statue and the Scramble Crossing to Miyashita Park, Nonbei Yokocho, a quiet shrine, and colorful street art, every stop showed a different side of the city. The guide was friendly and explained both history and modern culture in an easy-to-follow way. With plenty of Instagram-worthy photo spots and unique local experiences like capsule toys, this is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to go beyond sightseeing and truly feel the atmosphere of Shibuya.
