Super friendly, very informative, great to have an insider point of view of the city of things we would not have other wise known if we explored on our own.
Our tour was very informative and the guide speaks excellent English. There was no problem with communication and understanding. She is also very interesting and funny and takes awesome pictures. We had great time.

We spent an afternoon + early evening with Maria in a small group. From the start I had a good feeling, since she contacted us via what’s app and confirmed, sent exact meeting instructions with pictures. She was on site early, waiting for us as we arrived. Throughout the tour she maintained a friendly, humorous tone as she shared lots of interesting information and anecdotes about the sights we visited in Kyoto. These were well selected and varied. We especially appreciated the late afternoon start, since that meant at least some temples were less busy than usual. Overall it was a great travel experience we can recommend.
Tour guide was very informative and extra friendly. She had a sense of humor. She didn't rush us and let us walk our own pace since most of us were seniors. Thank you Maricel (I think was her name).
Marie was very knowledgeable about the history of Kyoto and related landmarks. The route was well planned and comprehensive.
The tour was fun and informative! We liked our guide, Marie! She replies quickly to text messages. She is really easy to follow and care about everyone’s well being on climbing up steep steps to the temples. We highly recommend this tour at 4pm when it is cooler and less crowded.
We had the tour with Marie, and she was very amazing on giving us the history and stories of the gion district! We had an amazing time seeing all the amazing temples and statues. She was very fluent in English and was very funny!
Marie was an incredible tour guide in Kyoto! She made sure we saw all the major highlights while keeping the energy friendly and fun. She even became our personal photographer, snapping some amazing shots for us. The pace was perfect, with plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks, drinks, and snacks. Highly recommend booking a tour with her!
