Our first visit to San Diego would not have been complete without sailing with Captain Doyle around the San Diego Bay. He had extensive knowledge of all of the vessels that we saw including United States Military vessels, as well as other others and their historical significance. Cabin oil was also able to point out all of the landmarks and structures that were on the coastal area.
Fantastic experience! Captain Aiden was capable, knowledgeable, and friendly. My daughter and I had a great time sailing the harbor and learning about the various boats we saw along with the architecture and history of San Diego. Aiden helped me work on my sailing skills too. Great time and I highly recommend it!
This was a great trip. Loved the sailing. We had the best time with captain Larry and would definitely do again.
Captain Doyle was absolutely amazing. The trip around the bay provided fantastic views of the bay. Couldn't have been easier to book. Just allow for extra time to get to the marina as traffic can skew the ETA.
We had a fantastic afternoon sail. The captain was personable, knowledgeable, and obviously experienced. We were even invited to assist with crewing and steering! Of course, any sailing trip on the San Diego Bay is delightful, but the fact we got to actually participate made this one Stand Out Among the rest!
Captain Larry was a great host. He has a lot of stories to share and is happy to make anyone as comfortable as possible on the cruise. I would recommend to all who visit San Diego.
A great way to see the Bay and so relaxing. The skipper is really interesting and in terms of sailing you can do as much or as little as you want. We had a super afternoon and would highly recommend the trip
We had a great time with Captain Larry on a fine, sunny, windy day in San Diego. There was a bit of fast sailing in a stiff wind followed by a leisurely passage back to the dock. It was beautiful and fun. Larry is a delightful and excellent captain who loves boats, and Captain Aidan is a lifelong boat lover and a sweetheart. If you love sailing, you'll love going out with Larry or Aidan. We can't wait to go again next time we're in town.
