Fantastic day out in Urla. We went on Sunday so the town was quiet in the morning but we were still able to experience its beauty and stopped for a quick coffee. The lunch at Ode was sensational. A degustation menu of many courses all stunning in presentation and taste. All local garden to plate. We also stopped at a local beach because we had time which was good. The wine tasting was professional and the wine was great. We are from Australia and actually hadn’t tried Turkish wine and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The olive oil museum was really interesting. We learned a lot but it wasn’t dull, it was well presented. Matt our guide was professional and informative and easy to talk with. I would recommend this trip. It seems expensive but it’s actually good value for what you experience.

We had an exceptional day with our guide Matt, who is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, put together a plan for the day that suited our priorities and pace and went above and beyond with a special request for the birthday being celebrated on the day. The walking tour of old Urla was relaxing and interesting. The winery visit and tasting was excellent, as was the visit to the Olive Museum and olive oil tastings. The lunch at a Michelin Star Restaurant was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend this tour as a very enjoyable day.
