Alex has an extraordinary depth of understanding of Plovdiv and its history that goes well beyond the normal walking tour. He was very happy to answer our many questions. He was very generous with his time and insights. This is more than a socialist heritage tour - this tour opens a window on the people and stories that helped shape today’s Plovdiv. We always take walking tours to get to know cities we are visiting. This one is one of the best we have done. We highly recommend it.

Absolutely recommendable tour
We learned an extreme amount about the many facets of the socialist heritage of Plovdiv and Bulgaria! So, a very varied and also very warm tour led by Alex!
