My husband and I really enjoyed making our own bracelet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave a brief history of where the pearls came from and were happy to answer any questions.

This was a great experience! My friend and I took our teenage daughters. Its about an hour long and we also learned about pearls ans how they are made (quick into at the beginning). The rest of the time was spent picking pearls and then stringing them. Both guides were patient and helpful.

My daughter and I had an unforgettable experience making our own pearl bracelets. We were able to ask the master jeweller questions and hear captivating stories about the history of pearl farming in Japan. Choosing our pearls felt like a treasure hunt, and assembling the bracelets was pure fun. The master jeweller then carefully fastened the clasps, leaving us with beautifully finished pieces that we’ll treasure forever. Thank you so much!

We had such a fun time. The staff was very helpful and informative. My husband accompanied me. So, instead of making two bracelets, we made a bracelet AND a necklace. Both are beautiful pieces. I would highly recommend this experience.

Don’t miss this unique experience of making your own pearl bracelet from Akoya pearls, after learning about the history of pearl jewelry in Kyoto. Located in a busy shopping district of downtown Kyoto near Nishi market, also close to a textile museum. We enjoyed learning about the pearl industry, then hand selecting each pearl, stringing them, and making a unique bracelet. I did this with my daughter (mother-daughter activity) while on vacation here, and my husband joined us to observe and was entertained as well. Very appreciative and attentive staff.
