ミラノドゥオーモ：大聖堂ガイドツアー＆屋上アクセス付き

This tour was a complete waste of money. We paid an exorbitant amount for a 40 minute tour inside the cathedral. We were told we had roof access but only with the stairs when the description implies we had elevator access. There are 500 steep narrow stairs. The description was misleading and also said it was a 1.5 hour tour. The tour operator was not the least bit helpful. I have booked so many tours through Viator this was the first one which was not worth it. Also, the inside of the cathedral is just like so many others, nothing special. The special part of the Duomo is the impressive outside and the roof access, which would have been nice to see. Again, DON’T BOOK THIS TOUR.

The meeting point is confusing. The tour only began 30 minutes later and was cut short. Only one side of the church was covered. At the time, we could have bought our own tickets and rented an audio guide at the door for much less.

The Milano duomo is spectacular, you definitely must see it! However, we booked this tour through viator thinking we had rooftop tour included, per the title. Instead there appears to be two options and we didn't choose correctly, so it was a shock to find out on arrival that we'd have to pay an additional €22 per person to go up to the rooftop. We decided against this. The product title should read optional rooftop tour as that's what it is. Also the rooftop tour is not guided so that's also misleading. However the saving grace is the ticket to the duomo also includes the museum, where you can see a ton of removed rooftop statuettes and gargoyles anyway. Important note: the face value of the ticket is only €10 so you are paying an awful lot more for skipping the line and guided tour. The guide was good but nothing special. I think if I went again I'd take my chances queueing and research Wikipedia beforehand.

The tour guide was very good. We were supposed to get an elevator to the roof experience but the elevator wasn't working. I am not sure if Viator or the tour company is refunding the difference. Then when I finished climbing all the steps to the roof... (and my friend didn't) I saw on the north side there were elevator tours. This was confusing. I would recommend purchasing tickets at the site with the ticket office rather than Viator on this one. I think we overpaid for what we got.

The inside of the church is amazing and there a couple surprises that no one tells you about. If you are at all religious you will enjoy this tour.

Quick tour of cathedral. Relatively informative. Best part was skipping the long line. Guide was knowledgeable.

The tour guide company was very accommodating. I had my hair done before, which ran late. They offered and we joyfully accepted to get us in the next tour. Our guide was lovely, lively and knowledgeable! We quite enjoyed the tour.
