This was a very enjoyable and illuminating experience! Romina is an awesome guide who knows her art history and also is very engaging. I learned a lot about Picasso’s evolution as an artist, from a very gifted teenager immersed in academic painting to a mature artist who developed his own inimitable cubist style.

Great guide, however we were 25 minutes late entering the museum. Things seemed a little disorganized at the start. Due to the late start we were not able to spend as much time in the museum as we were on a tight schedule.

Since I missed the Picasso museum on my trip to Paris this was on my to-do list for Barcelona, the guided tour was almost the same price as the regular ticket but well worth it!!! 100% recommended…
It’s best to have a hired tour guide who explains so much about Picasso’s life and personal history. Also it’s a much better way to understand Picasso’s evolution in his artwork
