Our entire tour was fully customized to us and absolutely amazing. We took part in a traditional tea ceremony and then went for a walk through Tokyo together. Sensei explained the meaning of the temples and guided us throughout the tour in Japanese, which gave us a great opportunity to actively improve our own Japanese skills. What impressed us most was how personal the experience was. She even surprised us with a visit to the famous staircase from the movie Your Name. As a big fan, I was absolutely thrilled! Every little wish we had was taken into account. I really wanted to buy the matcha tea from the tea ceremony, and Sensei didn’t give up until we found it together after searching through several department stores. She also gave us many helpful tips for the rest of our stay. At the end, we had a meal together, and once again she shared cultural knowledge by teaching us how to properly order and eat fish.
