Factory was not overly crowded but having tickets ahread of time with no set schedule is a major convenience. The museum was very interesting. Laid out nicely and learned quite a few things. Of course the chocolate was amazing!!!
I tried to get tickets for a specific day and they were already booked up through the website, so I tried on Viator and got flexible entry tickets with no problem. The tour was great and my college age kids had a ball!
I feel like this is a must do when you are in Zurich. However, I found the tour disappointing. It was so crowded you couldn’t read the displays. You only saw a video of how the candy is made, we did not see the candy actually being made. And the special piece at the end- watching that ball each and every time while waiting your turn was exhausting. I feel it was a waste of time and money.
The Lindt Chocolate Museum was amazing. We learned all about the history of Chocolate. Plus we got lots of samples!
Very unique experience, I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well organized with detailed narration in almost all languages.
It was very easy and convenient to have the flexible entry. I did find this viator pricing to be very expensive compared to the Lindt website but we had no choice as I didnt book early enough for that option. Worth a visit especially if you are interested in the history of Swiss chocolate in general.
Nice to do to learn about the history of Lindt chocolate. The white, milk, and dark chocolate dispensers are beautiful. At the end of the visit, they give away a Lindor for each flavor, about 10 to 12 chocolates. A bit out of the way, and the free entry is a bit too expensive for what it offers.
Was it a little underwhelming? Perhaps. But at a time when all the regular tickets were sold out, this option got me in, so it did the job.
Fun stop that provides the history of chocolate. Plenty of free chocolate samples. Lots of tourist so give yourself plenty of time if you want to hear the entire audio guided tour.
Great tickets when Lindt is sold out and your family is on vacation and really want to go see Lindt! Yes more expensive that normal tickets but that was expected. The fact that these tickets were “go any time” it worked great since we flew in the same morning.
