We had a terrific tour with our personal guide, Emma. She started at the beginning, quite literally, at the gate through the Roan wall into the settlement of Barcino. We had an enjoyable walk through the history of the Gothic quarter. Emma was knowledgeable and interesting. I would recommend her tour to anyone who loves to learn about the history of Barcelona.
It was the perfect way to spend my time, exactly what a solo traveller needs! It’s very convenient if you don’t want to worry about planning the route yourself and you’re short on time.
We had a wonderful private walking tour of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona with Emma. She was very knowledgeable and clearly loves sharing the history of the area. My father-in-law doesn’t understand English very well, so Emma kindly simplified her language and even mixed in some Ukrainian words so he could follow along and enjoy the tour too. It was such a thoughtful touch. We had a great time and would happily do it again!

A very intimate walking tour with Emma and the 2 of us through the Gothic District. Emma is very knowledgable about Barcelona history including the architecture, religious and political influences. The pace is very good as you don’t feel rushed and she has a great conversational style. She answered all of our questions - even those that were most far afield! We would highly recommend Emma and this tour.

We had a wonderful time exploring Barcelona with Emma. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared many fascinating stories about the city’s history.
