We went on the hiking and snorkeling tour with Mario, and after reading the other reviews, we had heard great things about his tour planning and friendliness. We thought he would probably be a great person to go with, but from the moment we were picked up at 8 a.m. until we were dropped off at 4 p.m., he completely lived up to the reviews, if not more so. We spent a week in Spain and had quite a few tour guides, but Mario was one of the only two who really stood out to me as someone who was genuinely passionate about giving tours, helping others, and showing us his world. The experience was incredible. We had a good amount of hiking, a good amount of snorkeling, and we ate around a small Catalan beach town. It really felt like we were getting a good glimpse of local life, but with Mario there to help and support us every step of the way. Even the little things were great !, from the transportation, being in a cool, air-conditioned car and chatting with Mario, to all the individual spots he took us to see. Everything just felt very well planned and effortless. I would definitely recommend Mario as a tour guide. If you’re looking for someone who is friendly, passionate, and genuinely wants you to have a great experience, you can’t go wrong with him.

Mario was awesome! He is super fun, knowledgeable, and an excellent photographer! Beautiful hike with great stops. Beach was beautiful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AN ABSOLUTE MUST DO IN BARCELONA! We were a group visiting from Arizona, and the Costa Brava Hike and Snorkel was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip to Spain. The Costa Brava itself is absolutely incredible. The coastline, hidden coves, crystal clear water, hiking, and snorkeling were everything we hoped for and more. Pictures simply do not do this place justice. What really made the experience special, though, was our guide, Mario. He was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, he made the entire group feel like we were spending the day exploring with a friend rather than following a tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had an incredible experience. Mario had the perfect balance of sharing interesting history and local knowledge while still letting us relax, laugh, explore, and enjoy the experience. Nothing felt rushed, overly touristy, or scripted. It felt like an actual adventure being led by a good friend. Coming from the Arizona desert, spending the day hiking along the Costa Brava, swimming and snorkeling in the Mediterranean, and exploring these incredible coves was something we will never forget. We experienced a lot during our time in Spain, but this was easily one of our favorite days. Mario, thank you for an absolutely unforgettable experience and for making a group of Arizonans feel right at home on the Costa Brava! 🇪🇸🌊🤿🌵 10/10 experience. 10/10 guide. 100% worth it.

This was the BEST part of our trip to Spain! Costa Brava is absolutely stunning. Mario took us on a great hike with beautiful views of different coves with picturesque turquoise water. Ended with great snorkeling - better snorkeling than Mallorca - and a quick bite to eat. Mario as our guide really made the entire day extremely fun. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

We went on an excursion along the Costa Brava with Mario and the experience was great. He came to pick us up on time with the van and took us to see different coves in the Palamós area, explaining a lot of interesting things about the Costa Brava to us. Before leaving us time to enjoy and swim at one of the beaches, he taught us some tips for snorkeling and explained what species we could find in the sea; he even told us about fish, octopuses, and other animals we could see. It was clear that he is passionate about what he does and that he knows the area very well. In addition, Mario was super kind and friendly during the entire excursion. He looked after us at all times, making sure that we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. He was punctual, attentive, and very approachable. Without a doubt, an excursion that we highly recommend, and especially if you are lucky enough to do it with Mario. Thanks for everything!😊

Everything about this trip was wonderful. Mario was our guide, he was friendly and knows area very well! The views and beaches were beautiful. We couldn't have had a better day out, Mario really made our trip brilliant!

Mario is a highly recommended tour guide for Costa Brava!!!! You can really tell he loves what he does and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience. His customer service is excellent, and I especially loved that he gave us safety briefings before our activities. We felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of the whole time! ❤️

Mario has great energy and is an awesome guide. He knew all the best spots for pictures and swimming. We had a great time and would recommend this excursion to everyone.

Truly an amazing and magical experience. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 people booked on this very hot day (although groups are already small and about 4 people), and had the best personal/more private tour with Mario. We felt truly comfortable and safe with Mario driving us to and from Costa Brava. He even made a quick pit stop at the supermarket just before the hike/beach to ensure that we had waters and snacks. The 2hr ish hike was relatively easy with a slight incline, and Mario was extremely helpful in giving us a hand whenever needed and pointing out slippery spots. The slight incline in the sun is extremely worth it for the magical views on top. Mario was our personal photographer and even airdropped me photos afterwards! He was truly knowledgeable of the history of Costa Brava and Catalan, telling us many stories and traditions and answering any and all questions we had. He highlighted the fish and flora to look out for and pointed out things we would never have seen on our own. The hike ends at the beach with 2ish hours of free time to snorkel, swim, eat, drink, relax, etc. The snorkeling was even more fun after Mario showed us a pamphlet of all the common fish to look out for and identify, and he gave us a bunch of tips for spotting hidden fish and flora in the water. Truly an amazing experience and would recommend to everyone!! 12/10.
