We booked two private half-day tours, one to Kairouan and one to El Jem. Our requests regarding the vehicle and the design of the tour were taken into account. The drivers were very friendly and, as far as their knowledge goes, also very helpful. We requested not to visit sales events like carpets or perfumes, etc. This was adhered to. The drivers' German skills were okay (better than our Tunisian ;-) ), but communication in English went better. The price for both tours was quite high for Tunisian standards, considering that the service was essentially just the round trip and admission fees had to be paid separately.
