Excellent. My tour guide was fantastic with knowledge far exceeding what one would expect. Valentina (my guide) was a pleasure to spend two plus hours with.
David, a Rolls Royce, I am truly honoured! Thank you for your generosity and for engaging so openly with the works, your curiosity made it genuinely enjoyable for me too. That kind of exchange is exactly why I do this. I hope our paths cross again in front of a great painting somewhere.
Valentina my guide was exceptional. She was very sociable and had very good art and history knowledge.
Thank you Chris! Really glad you enjoyed it and I hope the art stays with you long after the visit.
Valentina was fabulous and super friendly. She expertly guided us thru the limited time we spent in the National Gallery (a bit over three hours) and made sure we saw not only the best and brightest of the collection, but also tailored the tour to our tastes and interests. Don’t care for the rococo period? Let’s skip it and spend more time seeing and talking about the periods and pieces you are interested in. 10 outta 10 — how can I bring her along for all my museum trips?
Thank you so much Alex! 'How can I bring her along for all my museum trips' genuinely made my day! I would love to have you and your partner on every tour, your genuine curiosity and love for art make the experience just as rewarding for me. Hope to see you both again in London soon!
The tour with Valentina of the National Gallery was one of the highlights of my London trip. She was very knowledgeable and professional but also fun and personable. Her enthusiasm for art was contagious, making the entire experience both educational and enjoyable. Despite a section of the Gallery still being closed for refurbishment, Valentina navigated the temporary rehang with confidence. Her familiarity with the alternative arrangement was so seamless that I didn’t noticed any disruption to the experience. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Valentina.
Thank you Lorenza, what a wonderful thing to read! The rehang during the refurbishment was actually a fascinating puzzle. I'm so glad it didn't disrupt your experience and that the enthusiasm was contagious. Hope to see you on another tour someday!
Valentina was a great guide, friendly and really knew her stuff. Even though some parts of the National Gallery were closed, she still made the whole visit feel complete and really interesting. Her stories and visuals made it easy to get into the art and understand all the little details and meanings. It was a really cool and inspiring experience. Definitely recommend!
Thank you so much Gerard! This really means a lot to me. I'm glad you enjoyed the visit and hope to see you again in the gallery one day!
