This was basically 15 minutes beach time of sitting on a horse while the instructor walked in front of us holding the reins. No proper instruction, no explanation of how to control the horse, and no opportunity to actually ride independently. Communication was inexistent, as the instructor didn’t speak English or French. My friend was not allowed to ride her horse at all, she was eventually told to get off and simply hold it while he took pictures of me. This was a a complete waste of time and money.

Not worth it if you want to take pictures on sunset or if you want to ride fast because they won’t allow to rider to ride fast and my horse was too slow and i think so tired as well

Our horseback riding experience in Essaouira was absolutely wonderful. Our guide was very experienced and passionate, and we learned a lot about the horses and how to ride them. It was clear from the very beginning that they genuinely love and care for their horses, which made the whole experience even more special. We had so much fun, learned new things, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and they even took some amazing photos of us along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, and riding through such a beautiful place was a truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it! Initially there was a bit of hanging around while they tacked up the horses, however it did allow you to see the stables & the treatment of their animals which showed they cared. Interesting all the different companies have their stables in the same spot, looks a like a makeshift medina but for horses! The ride itself was lovely, us 2 and another couple. I have a little experience & the others not. Do they really try to give you the best experience & pictures. First class. I think they’d be brilliant at a longer session.

Communication was great. They have all stallions that are ready to ride. If you want to go slow or trot or whatever you want they will let you. Just be careful because if your riding skills are strong you don’t want to go to fast. It was a great experience and well worth it. Amazing ride.

Went with my young adult children- one likes riding and one does not. Had an absolutely perfect experience. The owner took my son for a gallop along the beach, coaching him through it as my son hadn’t ridden in a while. The assistant walked alongside the horses that my daughter and I rode. Beach is beautiful. The assistant took pics on my phone of my daughter and me, which came out nicely. The owner used his own phone to take pics and videos of my son and they were PHENOMENAL - practically professional. Sunset ride was timed perfectly. Great value for the money. I can’t recommend them enough.

A ride at ocean ranch is guaranteed for a wonderful experience. The horses are well cared for and fantastically trained. The sheltered dogs and cats and their youngsters are also well cared for here! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Communication is super easy and Ismail always goes the extra mile to take care of everyone! Don't just sit on every horse on Essaouira beach, it's not comparable to a booked ride through a ranch in Diabat. You get extensive time and always beautiful photos and videos. They choose a horse that matches your experience and do this very skilfully. See you next time!

A dreamlike experience, very friendly company and the horses are to fall in love with! Would definitely do it again!
