Honestly, I was shocked by the condition of the animals. I’ve only ever seen such emaciated and beaten creatures in disturbing footage from animal welfare organizations. Sorry, but one of the reviews mentioned that you were supposedly one of the few stables that actually cares about animal welfare—meaning the horses aren't emaciated. And while I can't judge the cost of animal feed—or horse feed—here, you certainly have control over whether or not the animals get beaten or mistreated.

I also have a horse and always lived with horses. So my dream like every horse girls dream was to once ride at the sea. So of course it was very important to me that the horses are heathy and well feeded and that’s what they’re are! Also the guides (especially Abdu and also the horse Hero) and the car driver that picked us up were really nice! Thanks to the beautiful experience!

Great trip. Will definitely try it again with family. The horses are healthy and good employees.

We took part in the sunset horse riding and swimming trip. It was my first time riding a horse and all the staff members were incredibly helpful with me including Abdul, Zizou, Alice and Khalid. I felt very safe the entire way through and taught me all the basics as we went. They cater for both experienced riders and beginners so I would recommend it for anybody interested in horse riding during their trip to Hurghada - 5 stars!

Fantastic experience- really researched a lot to find a stables where horse welfare a top priority and close to European standards and so pleased we found it at Lucky Horse. All horses had stable, plenty of shade, hay, carrots, vitamins, fresh water and were in good condition. They know their horses well and matched us to the horses well. They managed really well with the level difference between me and my 16yr old daughter- she was keen to gallop as an experienced rider and I only wanted a gentle canter. It was very hot so we didn’t want to push the horses too much and they respected this. Saeed was an excellent guide, clearly cares for the horses and was gentle in his manner with them. If you are worried about some of the reviews of other stables with animal mistreatment, starving over worked horses etc then give these guys a go- we were pleasantly surprised! Owned by Estonian family so stable is run to European not Egyptian welfare standards.

It was a really enjoyable experience. The horses are friendly even though it was my first time riding them. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to try horse riding.

My ride took place on the 5th Feb, My guide was Rebecca, a very experienced rider from Germany, who was professional, caring and thoughtful to needs of rider, but ultimately towards the horses in her care,I would highly recommend that should you ride here, then ask to go out with Becky From a personal point of view, i would say to not do the 'swimming thing' but to do the longer ride up the beach (one hour against a two hour ride) That said its a great experience, Lucky Horses may not be the cheapest riding place, however, going for a cheaper place, you'll find that they cut corners on the horses care and what feed they get, if you care about the horses, then this the place to go I was able to see the horses in their stables, that are all shaded Again highly recommended
