- 従来、本格的な金継ぎは、完成までに約1カ月の工程を要します。 しかし、今回のワークショップでは、天然漆ではなく合成漆、金の代わりに金属粉を使用し、参加者は90分以内に修復した作品を完成させ、持ち帰ることができます。
- 修復された作品は、装飾目的のみに使用することをお勧めいたします。 また、修理品は発火の恐れがありますので、電子レンジでの使用には適していません。

We really appreciated learning about the ancient art of kintsugi and the patient instruction as we created our own pieces. Our pieces will be displayed proudly at home! The welcome beverage in the coffee shop was a nice surprise too!
Great class covering classical, hybrid and modern processes of kintsuki. Tatsu our instructor was very knowledgeable on the subject and his passion for this art form was apparent. Repairing our dish was the highlight and able to bring home the dish, which was packed for our flight that afternoon. Great experience!

Ran by a very kind and informative instructor. Very straightforward process that's easy to understand while producing a memorable souvenir that'll last. If you pay attention you might even learn a fun skill that you can try to replicate at home. All the information for this is freely given during this event. Would recommend for small groups or an individual.
The Kintsugi course was thoroughly enjoyable, and our teacher was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in Kintsugi.

It was an amazing experience! I highly recommend taking time out to do this in Tokyo. The teacher was so calm and explained every part of the process in so much detail.
Really enjoyed the hour and half here! The host was a kind well articulated gentleman who gave an easily digestible history of the kintsugi art form before letting us try out a version of it made to finish something in less than an hour (versus months in the real kintsugi art form). The hosts helped in the more difficult aspect (cleaning, sanding, packing) and allowed us to do the easy gluing parts and fun/creative painting parts! Highly recommend for an enjoyable quiet short activity!
