アメリカのチェックポイント・チャーリーは、ベルリンの壁の時代に西ベルリンから東ベルリンへの主要な国境検問所だった。
ゲシュタポ（秘密国家警察）本部の旧跡。第二次世界大戦中、シンティ、ロマ、ユダヤ人の迫害と拷問の計画がこの建物で練られた。
第二次世界大戦前は、ヨーロッパで最も活気のある広場のひとつでした。 1961年以降、この広場は東西ベルリンの国境地帯の真ん中にあり、荒廃し、人影もなかった。
総統地下壕はヒトラーがベルリンに残した最後の避難場所だった。 そこで彼は1945年4月30日に自殺した。 現在、現場には案内板が設置された駐車場があるのみとなっている。
ベルリンのホロコースト記念碑は、ヨーロッパで殺害されたユダヤ人を追悼するものです。 2,711 個のコンクリート製の石碑で構成され、ブランデンブルク門の近くにあります。 反省と記憶を促すことを目的としています。

ライヒスタークはベルリンにある国会議事堂であり、ドイツ連邦議会の所在地です。 1894年に建てられ、第二次世界大戦後に部分的に破壊され、1990年以降に修復されました。 ガラスのドームは政治の透明性を表しています。
ベルリンの博物館島はユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。 シュプレー川沿いに位置し、ペルガモン博物館や新博物館など 5 つの重要な博物館があります。 それは芸術と文化の中心地です。
アレクサンダー広場はベルリンの中心広場であり、重要な交通拠点です。 テレビ塔、世界時計、数多くのお店で知られています。 かつては東ドイツの社会主義のショーケースプロジェクトでした。
ニコライ地区はベルリン最古の住宅地区で、シュプレー川とアレクサンダー広場の近くにあります。 中世に創建され、1980年代に再建されました。 現在ではレストラン、路地、聖ニコラス教会がある歴史的な場所となっています。

We were lucky. Our booked group tour had no other bookings. Therefore, it was practically a private tour. Our guide was world-class! But that was probably also due to the above circumstance. He was well-informed everywhere and on a scale from 1 to 10, he was a 12 in terms of likability 😁 This easily made up for the not-so-great bicycles.
Excellent tour, a little different than the typical ones but this is exactly what we liked the most. Plus the guides are locals and really know the history of the city and country. And they made sure we were safe all the time. Not to mention the fantastic place they chose for taking a break! :) thanks, it was a wonderful experience!

Dio took us on a wide and varied bike ride through Berlin. The pace was perfect not too fast or slow. Stopped at historic sites for explanations. Travelers should be comfortable riding a bike in traffic. Dio was friendly, open to questions, knowledgeable and attentive.
We had a beautiful day in Berlin. The weather was perfect. When we arrived for our tour somehow they did not make note we were coming and so our tour guide was not there. Fortunately the German tour guide went out of his way to tour us around instead of rescheduling. It was very kind of him. He was very thorough and did quite well having to speak in English for us. We would do this tour again for sure.
Dio was a friendly and interesting guide
Morgan was an excellent guide who made the tour leisurly and most of all fun!
First of all was book for 2pm Received a email 11.30 to say could we move to 3pm which we did but would of preferred our original time The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and English was good The bikes could of a wee bit better my hubby got louder with tour as we went We were not offered high vests and hats right before we left I personally think it should be a must The cycling was good fun but sometimes the guide went ahead without all party their as at times between roads and cycle paths it’s not easy to understand rules of who has right of way But still was a fantastic way to see Berlin and the weather stayed dry but as out later than planned on bikes the temperature had dropped and my hands definitely had got cold thank heavens for battery hand warmers

Regarding the change of start time: we understand that this was not ideal, especially on short notice. Occasionally, adjustments are necessary due to operational reasons, but we do try to keep them to a minimum and inform guests as early as possible. We also appreciate your comments about the bikes. We regularly maintain our equipment, but we will check this again carefully to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the tour. Concerning safety equipment: high-visibility vests are always available on request, but we take your point that this could be communicated more clearly before departure. We will review how we present this to guests. About the pacing of the tour: our guides aim to keep the group together, but in city traffic it can sometimes happen that short gaps occur. We will remind the team to pay even closer attention to this, especially at more complex crossings. Lastly, we’re sorry to hear that you felt cold towards the end. As Berlin weather can change quickly, we generally recommend bringing an extra layer, but we understand that the later start time may have contributed to this. Such a great way to explore Berlin and see all the important sights! My kids (21 and 11) loved the tour and they loved Dio. My son called him the perfect guide and said he really made the tour!
Great 3 hr ride but hop on and off to explore and take photos. Relaxed and informative and very enjoyable.
