Absolutely delightful experience! Ciaran's Vintage Shopping Tour was amazing from start to finish—so much fun, unique finds, and great memories. Fabulous host
This tour was a perfect mix of shopping,food, and information. Ciaran does a great job of making you feel comfortable and is attentive to what your tastes and interests are. I brought my husband along thinking he may be bored but he felt like he was getting a personal tour from a long lost cousin and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The Retro Routes Experience- really is an experience not to be missed!!
My friends and I had an amazing time on The Retro Routes Experience! Everything was well organised, our guide Ciaran was punctual and Professional. The whole experience really made my first visit to Dublin very memorable. An excellent variety of shops with a tour that came with a fountain of knowledge on both fashion and the history of the city of Dublin.

Loved the Experience and Connections!
Sure we can go it alone in our adventures to find the best vintage shops, but when we do it with others the connections we make with new people are more precious than the little treasures that we put in our closet.

Made me love Dublin🥰🥰🥰
This is the BEST tour in Dublin if you love food, conversation, Irish Coffee, local artists and btw, Vintage shopping. We walked, we talked, we laughed and drank. Frankly one of the most compassionate and comfortable tours I’ve ever been on anywhere at any time. I’d do it again in a hot New York minute.

Fun Shopping Extravaganza
Fun event, we had some Irish foods, including Irish coffee and demo, locally made cheeses, and traditional sausage rolls and Irish cake. But, the main event was the shopping and there was plenty of it. Lots of new and thrifted clothes to choose from in multiple stores. If clothes weren't your thing, there were plenty of other things to shop for -- jewelry, Irish pottery, art, soaps, and other goods. Ciaran is a charming, well-connected Dubliner who negotiated discounts for participants and seems to know everyone in town -- at least all those who matter for making it an enoyable, fruitful tour for you.

Fantastic Time
We had a fantastic time with Ciaran. We started with a delicious Irish Coffee. Ciaran directed us to the vintage shops according to our personal tastes. It was the perfect amount of shopping and breaks for delicious snacks. It was a great day.

Must Book Experience
If you’re lucky enough to have a cool friend who’s in the loop on the best places to find vintage and one of a kind pieces that will help you create your own personal collection of clothes and accessories, you don’t need to meet Ciaran (but you should book anyway because meeting him is an experience worth the price of admission!). If however, you don’t have an insider willing to impart secrets to you, you absolutely must book The Retro Route tour. Ciaran curates the experience for the group, so what you get to shop is tailored to what’s mentioned in conversation while shopping—just like you’re going shopping with your bestie for a day. My teenage daughter is music and design obsessed and Ciaran brought us to a scene core/Emo music lovers *fantasy* store AND then brought us to a shop (Gra) that custom made her a tee from one of her own designs. She was nearly delirious with happiness. And Ciaran himself is an entirely delightful person: utterly adorable with a dapper style and the most approachable and unflappable personality. He becomes your friend and you don’t want to leave him behind at the end of the day.
