It was a good tour, but carried on for too long. Worse part of it was getting there and taxi dropping us off at a distance, as no vehicles are permitted on premises .. so hence, we had to walk and were late, and they obviously upset. We allotted to be a 1/2 earlier and on time. Didn't happen. Please allow more time.

We booked our tour because I waited too long to get entrance tickets only, but not sorry I did. This is an incredible gallery and the guide Mathe was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable, we learned so much. I would have liked to have had time to stay longer after the tour to look at a few other items, but I am very glad we did the tour. Also, the sound system worked well and the guide looked at and spoke to us rather than facing away and talking to space as some guides do.

Terrible experience with the company responsible for the Borghese Gallery tour. Our appointment was rescheduled at the last minute, without enough notice for us to reorganize or even try to change the reservation. As a consequence, we completely lost the opportunity to visit the Borghese Gallery during the trip. Furthermore, the service was terrible, little concern in finding a solution, lack of support, and no consideration for the inconvenience caused. For a tourist service that depends on extremely busy schedules and tickets, we expected much more organization and responsibility. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.

Highly recommended visit. The guide Bernadetta made the visit very enjoyable, answering all questions and explaining details of the works and their history.

We only booked tickets with them and paid €100 rather than €39 for 2 people. Overpriced reseller/tour operator charging a 156% markup just to print the tickets. They buy large batches of tickets in advance, so none are left on the official website and visitors are forced to purchase through them if they still want to go — in our case, to the Borghese Gallery (but also the Museum is to blame as they should not allow). The tour operator told us to download the app with descriptions of the artworks, but the numbering was incorrect, many pieces weren’t included, and we ended up using the official QR codes inside the museum instead.

Our guide, Dimitri, was very knowledgeable about the art history of the sculptures, paintings and decoration of the gallery itself. His appreciation of the works was passionate and added to the experience. A first class tour!
