プエルト大聖堂 1502年に建てられましたが、1863年に修復作業員が起こした火災により完全に破壊されました。 最終的な改修は 2008 年に行われましたが、完全に修復されたのは 1956 年になってからでした。 大聖堂はドミニカ人にとって大きな宗教的意義を持ち、ドミニカ共和国全体で最も重要な巡礼地の一つです。

We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Puerto Plata with Diomi! Since it was just my family, he tailored the entire experience to us, which made a huge difference. My parents are in their late 60s and cannot walk very much, and Diomi was incredibly patient, considerate, and never rushed us. Excellent Service, Definetly Premiun private tour as described. The guide allow us customize our tour and just attend to places of our interested. Our guide took pictures of us and walked us to each place. My teen daughter love the tour so much, we gave the guide a nice tip. Vehicle was a new van very clean with A/C.
