The guide never showed up and made no attempt to contact me ahead of time. I reached via phone and text when it became obvious that they weren’t coming. No response. I then called Viator and they contacted the tour provider who said that an attempt to reach me via email was apparently made. That is not true. No text, no email, no TripAdvisor or Viator message. Can not recommend anyone else take a chance with this particular tour provider.
My husband and I did this tour 2 weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Nicolas Dolfo Augusto, was so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and Vienna. Started with an Aida coffeehouse for coffee and a pastry, then went to traditional Viennese restaurant for Wiener Schnitzel with German potato salad, then for a sausage with goulash, all topped off with apple streudal. All so yummy and we really enjoyed our conversation with Nicolas. Highly recommend this tour!
This is a great way to learn about the history of the city while enjoying traditional food of Vienna and learning about its origins. Our tour guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend taking advantage of this tour if you’re visiting Vienna for the first time. Augusto was so great, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Vienna. He even gave us recommendations of places to check out after the tour. Definitely sign up and go—and come hungry! It’s a lot of food.

August was a great guide. Experience was very authentic. This was 2.5x more expensive compared to a similar tour I took in Budapest

We did The Viennese Food Tour: The World of Yesterday. Augusto Dolfo was our tour guide. It was a small group, only two of us with Augusto. He made the walking tour fun and interesting. We had a great conversation with him. He was very knowledgeable about Vienna history. It was like hanging out with a friend, which made is low key and relaxing. The food we sampled was delicious. We had cake, sausage and schnitzel with beer. We enjoyed the tour, because the district we visited wasn’t very touristy. It was nice to see where the locals go. Highly recommend!
