I loved that the lesson was so hands on. Sophie is a wonderful and welcoming teacher, explaining every step so clearly. It was particularly nice that the class was held in her home, and that I got the chance to practice my French. I would definitely recommend.

The class was very nice! Sophie welcomed us greatly and we learned how to make macaroons. Sophie got us engaged and taught us with patience and plentiful knowledge. A deliciously French experience: cooking class with Sophie I had the opportunity to participate in a cooking class to learn how to make French macaroons, and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. From the very beginning, Sophie – the lovely teacher – welcomed me with a warm smile and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the rest of the class. What made this experience even more special is that Sophie opened her own kitchen doors, which brought an intimate and authentic air, as if we were cooking at a friend’s house in the heart of France. That closeness made the class not only educational, but also welcoming and memorable. In terms of content, the class was very well structured, clear and easy to follow. Although macaroons are reputed to be a challenging dessert, Sophie explained each step with patience and detail, making everything seem achievable, even for those of us who don’t have as much pastry experience. In addition, the rhythm of the class was very fluid, which kept the interest and allowed him to enjoy every part of the process without hurry, but without dead moments. And best of all: the result was a total success! The macaroons were beautiful and exquisite, with that delicate texture and the authentic taste that one expects from a good French macaroon. To be able to achieve them by myself, with your guidance, was really satisfying. Sophie has this gift of teaching clearly while conveying her passion for cooking and sharing her culture. I went out not only with delicious macaroons, but also with the feeling of having lived an authentic French experience in an intimate and very special atmosphere.
